Judith | 26 comments We know what happened to one third of the gold--Hector and Jocasta Cameron's share which is now in the Spanish Cave on Fraser's Ridge.

But what of the other two-thirds share? What did the other villains, Dougal and the Grants(?) masked representative (Arch Bug?) do with it?

Lori (lahood) | 217 comments Given Rob Cameron's interest in the gold, there's a good chance we will find that out in the next book.
Some of it could have made it's way to Charlie and helped fund his escape though, since it WAS intended for him in the first place.

We aren't told what happened to the 2/3. (Echo) Just that Hector and Jocasta had 1/3. That was removed by Arch Bug and hidden under Jamie & Claire's house that burned. The white hog stayed under the house and most people would not approach the hog. After the fire, they found the gold was hidden there. Remember Arch's wife was shot, etc. Jamie and Roger then hid it in the cave where the Spaniard skeleton was found.
