((I guess i'll start, k? SO here goes nothin'))beep! Charlie groaned as her alarm clock went off. She wasn't entirely thrilled to be woken up at 5 AM to go to summer camp. She kicked off her covers and walked over to the mirror. She inspected herself in the mirror. 'Hmmm,' she thought. 'No new zits!' She was pleased with herself, because for about a month, she had been working out nearly every day for her big trip to summer camp. It was a couple of counties over in Maine, and she was excited to have at least 50 miles between her and her parents. She wanted to be in top shape the whole summer for tryouts for soccer this year in high school. She headed down to the kitchen and grabbed a bagel. She sat down at the table with her mom. "Hey hun! Ready for the bug day? Do you have all your things?"
"Yup, everything."
"Okay, then. Let's get goin!"
Charlie grabbed her things and got into the car, after saying bye to her dad and siblings, who were still in bed.
2 hours later, Charlie and her mom pulled into Camp Dotrille's driveway. Charlie kissed her mom goodbye and waved as she left the camp. She walked up to the camp counselor and asked which cabin she was assigned to.
"Cabin number 7," she said, after looking up her name.
Charlie said thanks and followed the signs to cabin number seven.
The cabin was scarcely furnished, with a few chairs and a couch, and 2 bunk beds. She was greeted by another girl.

"Oh cool, another person in my cabin! So is this your first year here?"

"I've been coming here since I was six, so now I'm a junior counselor, so I'm kind of in charge of the cabin, but not really. I don't know what my job is. Just to keep everyone under control I guess. Do you want to unpack and get something to eat? I'm starving!"

Charlie smiled to herself as she unpacked her things into the chest at the end of her bed. She stuffed her suitcase under the bed and she and Angel went to the cafeteria/meeting area.

Charlie spotted Angel and jogged over to her. "Hey, have you seen any guys? I mean, guys worthy of keeping an eye on for the time-being?" She grinned.

"Yeah, me too. Let's get lunch!" They walked over to the lunch line, and waited for five minutes until they came to the lunch options. There was macaroni and cheese, PB+J, and hot dogs. Charlie grabbed a PB+J, a juice box, and a bag of chips. She waited as Angel got hers.

Charlie spotted a table of some cute soccer guys who were throwing a soccer ball back and forth. She spotted one guy, and she knew she just had to get to know him. He had dirty blond hair, like a wave, and gray-blue eyes, ad he was about the same height as Charlie. "Hey do you know him?" Charlie asked Angel, pointing over to him.

"Okay. Let's go sit there!" she said, pointing to a table somewhat close to the table of guys.

They walked over to the table, which was empty, and sat down across from each other. "So, what do you think I should do? About that guy I mean. Should I say hi, or wait for him to do that? I've never felt like this before!" she groaned and put her head in her hands. She looked up, just in time to catch the guy's eyes. She gasped and blinked, breaking the connection. "What's wrong with me, Angel?! I totally just threw that out the window!"

"What do you mean?" Charlie asked. She was confused. Should she flirt with him or should she ignore what just happened?((What do you mean?))

"I don't think so... I've had soo many crushes, and none of them seem to work out. They never last long. I was hoping that this summer would be the one to change." She sighed, and picked at her food. "So, do you have a boyfriend?"

'Hi, my name is Zoei Hale! I just came, and I'm looking for cabin #4. Could you please direct me there?' Zoei asked two girls that were standing and chatting about a kid moving or something.
"Hi! We were just going to eat lunch and then go back to the cabin, do you want to eat?"
'Yeah, sure! But I have to put my things down.' Zoei answered
"Okay, so you can go drop off your things and then meet us back here, is that okay? To get to the cabin, you take a left turn at the end of the path and then take a right at the fork in the road." She smiled.
'Oh, that'd be great! Thanks, I'll be right back.' And she ran and took the directions she was given. Zoei set up her bed and ran back to the campsite. 'So, what are we having for lunch?' Zoei asked, as her stomach rumbled.

"Yup." Charlie smiled, and glanced over to where that guy had been sitting. Her heart skipped a beat. He wasn't there. She whipped her head around, looking for him, and when she looked behind her, he was right there! "Uh hi, I'm Jack. I noticed that you and your friend were talking about me. What's your name?"
"Um, Ch-ch-charlie." Charlie cursed herself for not being able to talk to him. She stared at him. He had a perfect nose, she thought.
"Well, I should get going, okay? I have to go to soccer over there. guys play after lunch, girls play after that. Maybe you want to play?"
Charlie nodded, and said something like "Bla huh."
Jack grinned and walked away, bumping into a table. He blushed, and jogged away to his buddies.
