Taking me and my bro to the movies to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. She got the book for us, but she just ordered it a day ago so we dont have it and haven't read it yet.
I'm going to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lighting Thief too, with some friends! I'm really excited, I haven't read the book but I think Logan Lerman is goergous with his dark hair and blue eyes. *Sigh* Lol

Yeah, I think he's goergous but that's just me. In fact I've been hearing about the book for a while so I got it a couple days ago but haven't started to read it yet.(That was off topic)
(There isn't really a specific topic here!)I think he's cute too. And his eyes are spectacularly gorgeous! I will be able to read The Lightning Thief soon, but it has to get here first, then my brother has to finish reading it. It's going to be awhile before I can read it. :)
I've been thinking about taking my boys to go and see this movie.
Well I'm trying to get my mom to wait until we read the book. But it doesn't look like we're going anywhere else today anyways. Dance practice was fun though!! :)
I saw it last night with some friends. I honestly didn't know if it would be that good but I loved the guy who played Percy so we went and I loved it. I thought it was really good! I have the book but didn't read it yet. I thought it might be different since Percy is in High School in the movie and in the book he's 12.
Why would they make that kind of change? Wait... it was because he looks so much older, right?
Yeah I think so. Personally I don't mind but if I read the books I'm sure I would.
Well we are getting the book soon. My mom has ordered it for us, but we haven't gotten it yet. :) Can't wait til it gets here!

My bro wanted thecover with the real-life-looking person on it, an dI didn't so I'm totally mad. { >:< } I hope she ordered the book though because I do not like the cover she bought for my brother.
Haha. Yeah I bought it at walmart to. My mom was picking me up from a late night movie and we had to get something for our new dog so we went to walmart at 10ish at night. My mom makes me buy all of my books so I told her my brother, who doesn't read, wanted it and convinced her to get it for him. I know he'll read it but it's going on my bookshelf! LOL. Unfortunatly I saw the oppertunity and just went for it, even though they only had the people cover. I to like the other one but oh well.
Well it turns out that my mother didn't order any of the books she said she would. She hasn't ordered Specials yet because she's waiting until we can check Books-A-Million again. I'm okay w/ the cover on TLT, but I still like the other one. LOL. My brother is starting the Twilight series today. I'm not letting him read Breaking Dawn, though, until he's reading for it. Too much sexual content. Until then, he better enjoy the first three books. Haha :D
I know right. I don't like books with the movie people on the cover. It makes you look like you only bought the book because of the movie. Sometimes it is true but we don't need a label. Just like now. Most of the Twilight books all have the movie photo on it. It doesn't allow your mind to wonder and imagine your own character.
The Series of Unfortunate Events books had the movie cover too. I don't like them either.
Jordan: Mine are drawn pix of the characters, but not the movie people.Elyssa: I don't like the books with the movie photos on them either. I try to read books before seeing the movies anyway. Plus, I like the original covers better, the covers the books had when they were making their big break into Hollywood.
