Stargate SG1 - Children of the Gods

I've had a chance to read the book after watching both versions of 'Children of the Gods' episode. In some parts of the book the author gets too descriptive, especially in the middle of dialogue between two characters. (i.e. O'Neill and Daniel) One character asks a question, the author spends almost a page describing the surroundings then the second character answers the question. bit odd, that, if you ask me.
Pretty much all of the dialogue is from the script; there's not that much 'inside' info I had hoped there would be like in most novelisations of TV pilots and movies. But, at least it was a quick read.
