We're not doing anything special, although I suppose I should take The Boss out to dinner, but I did buy her & the Little Boss coffee mugs with Janny Wurts paintings on them. They'll probably fight over the unicorn one.

Huh thats a coincidence because i got my boyfriend a mug. It was an Entourage one though because he is obsessed with the show. I also got him the Extras DVD. We are just going out for a meal. Nothing too fancy.

This will be mine and my hubby's 5th Valentine's Day together. No special plans, maybe dinner and a movie if I can get my mom to take the kids.

Hubby's working all day, so I'm heading to Denver to see 3 friends I haven't seen in almost a year. I can't wait. These three women, each in their own way, has helped me become who I am today. I love them all.

Sounds fun Melissa! I guess if you can't be w/ your hubby, then spending the day w/ special friends is just as good :)

We're going to my mums wedding today (also her 50th), staying over in a hotel, so might be a bit worse for wear tomorrow to do anything. Probably treat it like today.

I know. It doesn't usually bother me but it seems supermarkets and stuff go more overboard every year...and I wish someone would buy me some of those nice things lol. Oh well..it'll happen one year.

Being single isn't all bad. You are your own boss and have no one to please. I enjoy living on my own and going out on my own. I hope one day I find the right woman, but if not then my life is just fine as it is.

I love my husband and wouldn't trade him for the world, but there are definitely times I would ENJOY that kind of freedom!

Well when youve been single for 2 years or so, you get kinda fed up of not having someone do the little things for you.

Yas loneliness sucks I'm not saying that it doesn't. Just that there are far worse things in life. You need to learn to love yourself first and foremost and once you do, then loneliness becomes bearable, kind of like toothache in a way. So long as you've got that ache you know you are still alive in a perverse sort of way,

I had the worst Valentine's day ever. I've been hungover all day, didn't even get out of bed until 3 >__<
