Most of what you said relates to me too. I read the manga first, but watched the 1st anime. I like the manga better, but some parts I liked that they changed. Also I love the movie.

Nina? I got really depressed with Rose in the end, but I like the twist with Roy and not Scar killing Winry's parents. It made it more dramatic, but mainly the direction it took, who was in it and how they acted just made the manga more enjoyable.
