Lorraine Hopping Hi Readers, I loved writing this book--but I loved researching it even more. I hung out with Diane France in her bone lab and met her family and friends in Colorado. I even watched her open a body bag with a recently discovered corpse inside. She's an extraordinary person--warm, open, smart, funny--with an incredibly fascinating job. You can find out a little more about her, me, and this book on my website (hoppingfun.com). Let me know if you have any questions.

Lorraine Hopping P.S. Here's the page about the book and about Diane France, on my website: http://www.hoppingfun.com/bone_detect...

While you're there, you might also check out Space Rocks, another book in the series about one of the geologists who found the Crater of Doom (the telltale evidence of the dinosaurs' demise).
