Zelda was fuming. Oh, So first you turn me, in, and now you're trying to save me?! Asshole... She thought, her mind currently blocked.
Elektra turned around and a guard saw her. "Crap..."He started running towards her and threw a knife at her. She dodged it and ran.
Skye ducked and crawled, shouldering through the animals. He saw a flash of Tia's shimmering coat through the hairy, brown, black and grey pelts of the animals legs. "Tia!" He called out, and doubled his efforts, closing the distance between them quickly. Zelda, what happened to you? He asked her, gritting his teeth while multitasking his concentration.
She kept running and tripped. She looked up at the guard, then he fell over dead. she looked around and saw a flash of white and black. ((sry I'm on my sis itouch hard 2 type))
((s'ok.))"Tia!!" He called out again, losing her feathers in the mass of animals. Cautiously getting up, he spotted her again, and she was less than a yard away. "TIA!" He yelled in her maiden tongue, and she finally looked over. "Skye!" She twittered happily, then flew over and perched on his shoulder, rubbing her plume feathers against his cheek. "Where did you go?!"
Skye flinched at the harshness of Zelda's thought, his telepathy cut off with her so suddenly it was almost painful. He shook his head, then looked around for Elektra. "Did you find Corvin yet?" He yelled to her, hoping he caught her attention.
Zelda glared at the walls, as if lazors were to come shooting out of her eyes. She was pissed off. Like she had a sudden rage that would never disappear.
Skye nodded, then pushed his way through the animals over to her. "Good... Now--" His phrase was cut off as a small crack was felt through the substance of his bag. "..." He was silent, then he slowly looked down as the leather of his satchel started moving and shifting. "...uh... I can explain?" He said, noticing Elektra was also staring at it.((lol, hope you don't mind me playing her for a sentence...))
Skye slowly opened his bag, and took out the egg that so far, no one had seen. It was golden with silver flecks across the shell, and it was cracked in multiple places. He was silent, just holding the egg up to her eye level, letting her make an assumption before he said anything.
((xDDD typo, fixed it))Skye nodded, and twitched as the egg suddenly made another large crack, and now there was a full ring of cracks around the top, so the dragon baby could lift it's head out if it wants to. "I wonder..." Skye said, then turned around and lifted the egg to the moon, seemingly for no reason.
"You think it's moon powered? I think i've heard stories like that. One question, where'd you get it?"
Skye just shook his head. "Made a promise I wouldn't tell... Maybe later, when it's of more importance. And the stories that Eggs are moon powered... Those are only partially true... You see, whatever element the Egg is near, say, Fire, it'll be born as a fire elemental. I'd rather my dragon be born as a Moon/Sky dragon than an Earth dragon... Which means... We have to get back to Zelda's tower, NOW!" He said, wrapping his arms around the egg while he unfurled his wings again. "Grab my arm!" He said, a sense of urgency in his voice.
Skye looked at Corvin. "Do you think you can follow us?" He said quickly, eager to get going before the egg hatched.
"We're making sure that my dragon can fly." He said, the took off and soared upwards, towards Zelda's tower.
Skye grinned. "I'm named after freedom, aren't I?" He said, his shoulder muscles straining to carry two people. "Besides, my animal is a Phoenix. Of course I have wings."
"Possibly." He grinned. They were almost half way up, and he could sense the dragon chick's growing impatience.
Zelda saw them flying up into the sky through the small amount of glass she could see through. She glared for a second, and then stood up as much she could in bed, trying to work on getting those chains off of her. "AAGH!" She cried out, pulling as hard she could to break the chains.
((Uhhh yeah....))Much. Skye thought, grinning. He picked up the speed, and in less than 10 seconds he was perched at the top of Zelda's tower. "You might want to go check on Zelda for me." He said, holding out his arm while the other took out the egg. "I want to do this alone... So it doesn't mistake you for it's master." He smiled awkwardly at the snake outstretched on his arm.
She nodded and came off. She turned into her human form and landed on Corvin."Oof! At least warn me if you're going to do that!" She laughed.
"Onward!"
"Neh..." Corvin said and turned around.
Skye then tucked his legs up underneath him, and sat with his elbows propped up on his knees, egg cupped in his hands. He started singing a soft dragon hymn, to coax the hatchling out of its egg.
((lol.))The egg shivered once more, and then the top rattled, sliding off. Skye didn't shift the egg, letting the hatchling see the moon and sky, absorbing it's first elements. He continued singing though, a little bit louder.
((im bored so im just gonna cut the chains again ;D))When they got there Corvin quickly cut the chains with his claws.
((xD nice Esth.))The hatchling soon poked it's head out of the shell, looked around, then did a total 180 degree turn to see Skye. It's silver eyes blinked, and it let out a little gurling sound from the back of it's throat. "Hello, Syphon." Skye whispered to it in dragon tongue. It murred happily to it's new name, then turned back to the moon and absorbed more light in it's golden scales.
((i know! i do weird stuff when im bored ;D))Elektra sat down on one of the chairs. "What now? Run away or something?"
"Are you done?" Skye asked softly. The hatchling nodded, then sunk back into it's egg. "You'll have to come out eventually." He said gently. It let out a small noise that sounded like reluctant agreement, then the egg was quiet. Skye got up, then glided down from the top and stepped onto the windowsill, folding his wings and climbing inside. "Anything new?" He asked.
"Oh. Okay. Would you like to meet our newest member?" He smiled at Elektra, resting his bag in his lap as he lounged in a chair.
Skye opened his bag up, and took out the egg. He held it sideways so he could see into it, and he saw his hatchling pressing itself to the other end of the egg. "Why don't you want to come out? The outside world is beautiful." Skye cooed to him in dragon tongue.
((byeee))Skye looked over at her, and smiled. "Syphon doesn't want to come out... Why don't you want to explore, little one?" He quickly switched to dragon tongue, curiously staring his dragon in the eyes, familiarizing himself with the dragon's soul. ((eyes are the window to the soul?))
((shruggles ,dunno, u said it ;D))".. Can i-?" She said leaning over a little to see through the crack.
((xD lol. Yesh, in Zelda's room but she hasn't said anythin....))Skye spoke a little rhyme in Dragon tongue to sooth the dragon, then held out his open palm to the edge of the egg. The hatchling cautiously crawled out, looking curiously at it's surroundings, it's almost metallic looking scales gleaming in the bright candlelight of the chandelier hanging in Zelda's room.
