This is Howard from the Seattle area. I would label myself as a photographer turned author. For years I have been travelling around Washington state shooting its iconic landscapes and ghost towns and selling them online. Based on my favorite locations, I put together my first book, The Seven Wonders of Washington, and self-published it on KDP. A few months ago, my second book, Abandoned Washington State, was published by Arcadia Publishing. I am currently working on my third book, Abandoned Idaho.
Hello folks, Derrick here from NZ. I recently self-published a book of short stories on KDP under the title 50 Shades of Weird on the theme of the human condition, based on many experiences scuttling about the surface of this small planet.I was focusing on writing film scripts and producing short films, when around five years ago I joined a local writing group and the book came out of the monthly meetings. Its been quite a journey to get to this point and it appears now that this is only the start.

Hi Lorena, it's great to meet you on Goodreads! Your passion for reading and exploring new genres is something you'll find well-supported in this community. Feeling stuck in your writing is a common experience, but remember, everyone goes through it. With your background in writing articles and reviews, you're already on the right path. I can relate to the challenge of language barriers, as I'm Italian and my books are published in both Italian and English. It can be tough, but perseverance and continuous learning make a huge difference. I collaborate with my boyfriend Paolo in publishing children's books. I handle the writing while Paolo brings the stories to life with his illustrations. We've published three books so far, and our latest one, "Different is not wrong," was released just yesterday! It's a story about self-acceptance, inclusion, and friendship. If you're interested, I'd be delighted if you could read and eventually review it on AmazonBest wishes on your writing journey, Lorena, and keep nurturing your passion!!

The Military Experience: How it Can Impact Your Future
Hello:My name is W.R. (Wes) Rosche.
Three years ago, I retired from a 44-year career as a government bureaucrat, data analyst and IT consultant. Much of my work involved writing policy documents, research papers, etc. After retirement, my itch to keep writing nagged at me until I ended up finishing a full-length novel. (Heroes Borne: Tales of the One True Realm) Inexplicably, it's an 'animal world' style fantasy though, to be honest, it doesn't cleanly fit any genre. (Humorous political satire populated by donkeys, dogs and large black and white bears?)
I am at a crossroads as to whether to write books 2 and 3 of the imagined trilogy or move on to a more mainstream style. I suppose it depends on whether anyone but me and my wife reads the first book!
Hi all, I’m the author of a series of rough and tumble memoirs that read like novels, published by Tumbleweed Books, an imprint of DAOwen Publications in Ontario Canada. CHICAGO RAGE, about the wild life of a 17-year-old boy on the road in 1969, and the sequel HOME AT THE EDGE about his surviving jail and a stint in the madhouse, are both available as paperback and e books.
Two more will be available soon. PARTY AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW about the Chicago White Panthers in 1970 and TEENAGE RUNAWAY which chronicles a 17-year-old boy’s escape from suburbia in Chicago to live on Skid Road in New Orleans in 1967.
Come walk on the WILD side of history with me.

Hi everyone,I am Johnny Sawyer, I’m completely new to Goodreads and have just released my debut comedy fantasy novel “The Film Freaks”.
It is a bit of an unusual read as it is a hero novel where all of the main characters have Mind Blowing Disabilities, rather than super powers.
Anyway, please feel free to follow or message if you wish to know more. I think the book will raise a lot of eyebrows but in a good way.
I look forward to your reviews.
Thanks,
Johnny

Hi everyone,Happy to let you know the second full lenght book of my Keeper Clans Chronicles called the Twin Realms was just published. It's time for the Green Clan to have their adventure.
Brief description:
When Liza sat down in one of her beloved stone circles one day, she had to rub her eyes at what she was seeing. People in period clothing running out of one of the standing stones. Shooting around wildly before disappearing through it again leaving a mesmerizing swirling pattern in their wake. Add the visit of a young man telling her she is a Keeper and she’s convinced she has lost her mind.
Tom is back home in Ireland to have a nice holiday with his friends. When he is told to contact a new Keeper, he is not too happy. Mostly because the wonderful prospect of taking a break from Keeper business was likely to be short-lived. Add portals to two realms that were one before the Keeper Council decided to split it up and he could feel trouble brewing.
Soon together with Liza and his friends he is caught up in the ongoing bitter struggle between the two realms to take control of portals. All for money, power, and clean air.
Their knowledge is tested in realms where portals not only need to be destroyed but where new ones will have to be created.

Hi all :)My debut spicy adult romance novel CONTROLLED BY DESIRE was self-published two weeks ago!
I have made the ebook FREE on Amazon to ‘buy’ for 48 hours (December 29-30, 2023) to celebrate!!!
If this sounds like a genre right up your alley, I’d love for you to download it, devour it and review to help an indie author out while I’m working on the second book in the series - each can be read as a standalone. I will put blurb below…
Website: www.justinastaniforth.com
Amazon: https://amzn.asia/d/4gjnNQS
Controlled by Desire:
For Charlie Drake, life is filled with tragedy, loss and blow after heartbreaking blow. And all that holds it together is the strength of her friendship with Lizzie and a single fragile thread, threatening to break at any given moment.
When Luca Crescent blows into her life, Charlie’s world turns upside down. He’s mysterious, powerful, confident, and hot as Hades! Locked in his embrace, Charlie might as well forget her name and how to breathe.
Could he be the one thing she’s been waiting for? The person that can pull her out of the darkness? Or will he be the one to finally shatter her heart beyond repair?
If your favourite tropes include fast burn, dominant MC, instalove, intense passion, billionaire romance, and overcoming tragedy, then don’t miss Charlie and Luca’s epic story! Recommended for 18+.
