E.R. Odhomi (e_r_odhomi) | 4 comments Hello, my name is E.R. Odhomi, and ive been a group member since 2013. But I have to admit that I have not been very active over the past couple of years (I guess life got in the way). However, I've decided to get back on my passion (writing of course!) and actively promote my work. I am an independent author of a historical fantasy novel called the 'A Blacksmith's Odyssey'. Check it out on Amazon, the kindle version is currently free for a very limited time. And a review will be most appreciated, thanks.

Joshua Cox-Steib | 7 comments Hello everyone. I'm Joshua Cox-Steib. I read mostly science fiction and fantasy, but hop over into academia at times. I've been focusing my writing upon speculative fiction series and setting pieces done as short stories, novelettes, and novellas. Mostly with elements of satire, and general humorous ridiculousness.
I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and still live there(here?) today - along with my unremittingly patient wife, and our trio of felines. The cats like to help me with my writing - as one might expect of a cat. Unfortunately they seem to prefer a technique that I have yet to accomplish: it involves rolling around on the keyboard with one's whole body, and not just the hands. Remarkably clever little critters.

A.C. Salter (httpwwwamazoncoukdpb01bqmjjys) Hello Joshua

Welcome to Goodreads. I'm still quite new, as are a lot of us. Like you with your cats, I have a grumble of 3 pugs who like to help me write ( usually by pawing my keyboard ).

All the best
Adrian

My name is Carrie Rachelle Johnson and I am from Missouri. I am an elementary teacher by day (which I love) and an author by night, weekends, and summers. I also enjoy spending time with my family especially my teenage nephew and niece. My first novel Journey to Glory was published a couple of months ago which is a dream come true. It is now available on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com in paperback and Kindle format. I look forward to being a part of this group and discussing things with you all!

Stacie Orion (stacieorion) | 35 comments Hi everyone,
I'm Stacie Orion. I just published book #1 of "Restless Desires", a quirky soap opera book series inspired by The Young and the Restless and Passions. It's mainly a romantic suspense, but also contains a fair amount of action and comedy. I love plays and musicals (e.g. Avenue Q, Kinky Boots) and believe that humor is the key ingredient in telling memorable stories.

If you'd like to learn more about the series, you can visit my website below. I post updates regularly and there's also a "secret portal" where bonus content are uploaded ;)

Nice to meet you all, fellow authors and future readers!

I organize and curate a group of people which I call as 'Write Club, Hyderabad'. It's an open platform for all writers from my city to come together, sip on a cup of coffee, discuss an element of literature and write on it. I have been doing this for the past one year. And over this time, I have compiled some of our best stories and published it as an e-book. It is available on the following link.. Please do check it out and let us know what you think! I would love for your reviews on that, since we are all budding writers and any feedback is good improvement for us! Thank you so much for reading so far! :) http://www.amazon.in/dp/B01DY9BRKA

Abhishek Mishra (abhishek2587) | 4 comments Hi My name is Abhishek Mishra and the following is what I intend to say about writing and my first novel released a few months ago. Do give it a look at your convenience.

The Last Cast

Writing or the art of using words to formulate thoughts that traverse through distinct levels of human mind, is indeed a skill that one nurtures since childhood. The ability to translate your thoughts, your experience and your aspirations, through the medium of words is indeed a talent that requires much perseverance and continuity in belief. Just like most, my writing journey began with short poems, based on nature, mankind, love and similar unthought-of emotions at a very early age. It was not until two years ago, that I decided that perhaps, writing a novel could be the next big desire, the next big achievement to aim for.
“The Last Cast”, is not a relation to personal experiences, it is a progeny of an undefeated interest in mystery and crime scenarios. The book is not a depiction to a person’s life, it is an unreal compilation of thoughts and character sketches, that eventually evolves into a novel.
The Last Cast is a crime mystery that revolves around a continuous investigation about the murder of someone who, in context of love, separated two lovers, who were thriving a long-standing relationship. The book entails an impending danger to the life of the accused and in a dramatic way unveils a mysterious conclusion to the story.
To those that find craze and excitement in unveiling mysteries, The Last Cast could be a good choice; the language is kept simple, being my first novel, however, at any point of time, that intuitiveness of, ‘Hey, what happened next?’, will exist exorbitantly amongst the readers mind.

Beau North (beaunorth) | 4 comments Hi everyone! I'm glad to be here. My first novel, Longbourn's Songbird, was published by Meryton Press back in October. As some of you may have guessed from the title, it is an Austen-inspired novel, but set in the American South post WWII. What's funny is this book was a side project I was working on while I finished the Urban Fantasy novel I was working on, and I got kind of pulled into the Romance and Austenesque worlds. I love it though, it's a great community. Thanks for having me!

Igor Eliseev (goodreadscomIgor_Eliseev) | 3 comments Hello, I’m Russian author Igor Eliseev. I’m brand new here.
I am happy to find a group of like-minded people who read serious literary fiction making human beings more empathetic and humanistic and deserving the attention of the progressive-minded and tolerant society. I have only One-Two book finished, and I am currently working on my second one.
Sometimes I fell the time is not enough for read all of the amazing books I want to read. Years ago I used to read an average of two books a week, but occupation as a writer dictates its own conditions for life. I managed to read only five books within this year, which does not make me happy. So I promise to arrange my schedule so that I can read regularly and diligently. Thank you very much to all of you.
