Hi All,I'm Sue and I live in the US. My hubby and I are animal rescuers and adopters. I am an unpublished writer of contemporary and paranormal romance. Hope to make some friends in this group.
Thank you, Sue
Hi! I am Sissy and live in TN. I love reading and reviewing books! I just started last April with reviewing but have been reading easily for over 35 years. Any review tips or help would be greatly appreciated. Please follow my reviews and / or add me as a friend.
Thank you!
I'm Nick and am interested in your SciFi genre group. I'm curious about the "RoundTable" name and symbol - is the group connected to the RoundTable organisation that has the same symbol and does charity work around the world? I'm asking because my father was a very active member of the latter.
Hi. Rob Bonney. I am a novelist with a newly completed novel. I may ask for a beta reader swap. I've been reading the classics I opted not to read in high school and college - and loving them. My loss all these years. I also enjoy writers who dazzle me with their talent. I usually choose books based on recommendations from friends who have recommended other books I've liked. Favorite book in recent years, The Goldfinch. Favorite musical recording, David Bowie's Blackstar (amazing). I also love audiobooks.
Hi Everyone! My name is Lisa Orban, and I am a brand-new Indie author. So new the shiny hasn't even worn off yet. Like every other writer, I'm working on getting my book out there for people to find, and it's currently available in both paperback and Kindle on Amazon. My first book out now is called, It'll Feel Better when it Quits Hurting. I have plans and have already begun the second book of the series, tentatively titled Wine Comes in Six-Packs. A third book in outline form only, tentatively titled Good Friends Bring Shovels. Each written so you can read them in order, or not, as they each stand independently.
I've received some great reviews from both Amazon and GoodReads reviewers. If you're curious about my book you can read an excerpt about it on here, and if you have Prime or Kindle Unlimited, read it for free. I promise that I'll have you laughing, shaking your head, perhaps a bit of eye rolling as you travel through my life.
Hi, I am an indie author (James Halat) of contemporary gaylit who is an accidental resident of Tokyo. I like to to read literature, and the past couple of years I have been reading the magical realism of Haruki Murakami. Always unexpected and always a joy to read.I have been writing for a long time, but only started publishing in April of last year. I now have three books available on Amazon. I would be happy to gift ebooks in exchange for fair reviews, if anyone is interested.
Author bio, book descriptions, look inside, and reviews to date can be seen on my Amazon page.

Hi Vincent, hello everyone! My name is Laura, I found this group by Googling "book cover artists". I am a photographer, a book addict, and a passion for cover art which I am currently pursuing in my photographic career. I have a fabulous designer that I work with currently although I am open to other designers and make sure my work is 100% exclusive to the author. I have a few things coming out this year and am very excited about it! I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself.. Thank you again. http://www.lcphotoart.com/#/bookcover...
Hi everybody: I should have done this long ago, but... I turned 90 on Jan 17, 2016. Started my new career of writing mystery novels at age 82 and am now working on my 5th novel. My first novel won an Indie Excellence book award and has been scripted for a movie. I wake up raring to get writing every morning but my wife insists I eat breakfast first. I have a website, a blog, a newsletter and a coach trying to help me get traction in this field. Also co-wrote and published a "how to" book for self publishers. All my books are at Amazon and in bookstores. Website: http://www.rlwren.com/
Hi Richard! Welcome. I'm new to the group. Happy belated birthday. And congratulations on your success!
Hello to the groupI'm John, been writing a long time, but only just making the transition towards putting my own things out there, and the reason for that is that I've got more than one job, and those jobs have been eating all my time.
So, in order, there's the day job where I keep trucks on the road, there's the jobs where I'm the floor manager at a number of conventions (UK Games Expo, Dragonmeet, Wyntercon, Longcon), and then there's the writing on top of that.
I did the million words in a year challenge back in 2014, and started keeping a blog at the same time (www.millionwordman.blogspot.co.uk), but 2015 ate all the time I had and all the books I wrote in that year took till now to get edited. Still, here now, coming back to the world of writing and looking to find others like me.

I write and edit cookbooks. When I'm not doing that, I read historical fiction, biographies, fantasy, and adventure.
Hi Vincent and everyone! My name is Ian Alexander. I'm an author who is just starting out both on Goodreads and in the self-publishing field.
I really love reading humor and comedy books, classic comic strips like Calvin and Hobbes, as well as indie webcomics.
I've just completed my second book, an illustrated graphic novel called Nature vs. Nurture: The Cameron Case Study. It's about Cameron Lewis, the world's most neurotic millennial and features his life milestones, along with dysfunctional family history and deep character insights. Here's a link to the Amazon Kindle page: http://www.amazon.com/Nature-vs-Nurtu...
Thank you for being so welcoming and I look forward to being a part of such a great community!

Hi, I'm Maria Bernard, writer of rock star romance! I'm a self-published author of 12 books. So far, it's been an awesome journey with lots of hills and valleys. Definitely challenging.
Hi all - I'm Grace, and I'm 42 and live in Estes Park, Colorado. I'm an avid reader (and writer) of mostly romance and erotica fiction, mostly M/F stuff where a good story supports the sex, with characters I can believe in. But I also like fantasy, thrillers, and a good mystery once and a while. I've had some short stories published in traditional print magazines, but I'm trying the self-publishing route as an author to hopefully reach a wider audience.I use a Kindle paperwhite reader (kinda old, but still works fine). As for hobbies, I'm into outdoor recreation, photography, and watching my hubby race motocross in the summer.
Anyway, I look forward to being a part of the group, and finding out what great new books people are reading.
Hi there, They call me Justin (I can't make them stop) and I love to write. I've been writing for many years and only recently decided to write anything for public consumption. My first love, aside from "her", is the genre of horror.
Something about writing all of the grotesque and disturbing things from inside my mind gives me the feeling that it will eventually be okay and maybe there is hope after all.
I'm writing a series of Novellas (20,000+ words) that is leading up to my first full novel release and I'm doing it all through self-publishing. It's an interesting thing to see your work actually go up and to have people, genuine human beings, take pleasure in the madness that comes out from time to time.
Yes, there are monsters in all of our closets. Yes the thing under your bed can certainly get your feet if they poke out from your covers and yes I love to write about them all.

My name is Elizabeth C. Robinson and I've been an aspiring author since middle school (I'm currently a senior in high school). I've self-published two fiction books, Talismen: Birthstones and Charango, through Amazon. Self-promotion (or lack thereof) is what led me to Goodreads! I love reading fantasy, dystopian, and many types of non-fiction such as biographies or history books. Lately I've been looking for an agent. I have a good idea of who to contact. I just need to fix up a few things first.
I still feel like I'm new here, and there are a lot of things I'm not sure how to do (such as PM people or manage notifications). I'd love to be friends without anyone, but please don't be offended if I have no idea how to response to your messages ;)

Hello, everyone! My name is Alexia Gordon. I'm a life-long reader and new author. Traditional/cozy mysteries have always my favorites but I've discovered a love for historical creative non-fiction. I'm looking to re-discover sci-fi which I read all the time when I was younger but fell away from as an adult. In addition to reading mysteries, I enjoy watching PBS/BBC America adaptations of classic mysteries.
My first novel, Murder in G Major, is scheduled to be published this autumn (Sept 2016) by Henery Press.
Hi, everyone. My name is Cathy Skendrovich, and I write romantic suspense, and romance. My first book, 'Prisoner of Love,' came out in Oct. 2015. Right now I have a few books doing the long wait at various publishers, while I start writing my next romantic suspense. I'm glad to be here to meet readers and other authors.
