Since the poll ended in a tie, I'm going to ask for opinions. Do we
a) read Brideshead Revisited and Empire Of The Sun as our December group read
b) read both books and have a two-month reading period
c) have a tie-breaker poll?

I have started "Empire of the sun" recently. I would vote for two month reading period.

I am nearly finnished with Brideshead Revisisted, and I just got a copy of Empire of the Sun today and will start reading shortly.

Hello. This is probably not the right place to post this comment, but I wasn't sure where else to include it. I have only been a member a few months, but due to family issues/emergencies, there's no way I'm going to be able to read enough to stay in this book club over the next few months. I'm leaving the group and will miss those of you I've met so far.

I have started my own book group: The Women That Strength Built. If any of you are looking for another group, I'd love to have you join. Sorry guys -it's for women only.

Hope to maybe rejoin this group somewhere down the line :-)
