JJ (jj_simon) | 1 comments Hello all — I’m JJ Simon, and I write nonfiction that lives at the intersection of consciousness, time, perception, and human agency. My aim is to spark deep thinking and challenge the way we assume reality works — without losing our grounding in personal experience.

My first book, Humans: Actuators of Time, explores how we relate to time not just as something we measure, but as something we shape. It’s part metaphysical, part philosophical, and rooted in the belief that inner awareness changes outer experience.

I’m glad to be among fellow nonfiction minds here — whether you read, write, or just love a good idea that lingers. What themes or questions in nonfiction tend to draw you in the most?

Michelle Beetz | 2 comments Hi, I’m Michelle Beetz author, creator, and the heart behind Brooks Club.

I write children’s books, devotionals, and affirmation cards inspired by real stories especially my own journey as a grandmother to a little boy born with clubfoot. Watching him go through casting, bracing, and all the quiet moments in between sparked something in me: a passion to create resources that celebrate inclusion, courage, and love for families like ours.

Through Brooks Club, I share stories that help kids feel seen, encourage parents who are walking hard roads, and remind siblings that they matter too. Everything I create whether it’s a picture book, a faith based journal, or sensory toys for children is rooted in hope and made with so much intention.

I love connecting with fellow authors who are writing for a purpose. If your heart is in storytelling that makes a difference, I’d love to hear what you’re working on too!

I remember hearing about this at the time. I had no idea that their killing spree was so widespread. Good article!
I'm sending you a friend request.
