My first full-size book is "Social Skills Teens Need to Survive High School."I chose to write on this topic after observing young adults who struggles with communication skills. I researched and interacted with teens to learn more. What I found is that they feel like they never learned how to really talk to people and they have a lot of low self confidence.

On April 19, 1995, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols planned and executed the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in United States history at the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. These two anti-government extremists used close to 5,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate fuel oil (ANFO) in their domestic attack using a Ryder truck that was parked by McVeigh in front of the federal building. He would use a fuse to detonate the bomb inside the truck killing 168 people, injuring over 600, destroying the building and damaging others in a 16-block radius causing over 600 million dollars in damages.
This heinous act committed by McVeigh and Nichols would lead to their arrest, conviction and sentence. On June 11, 2001, McVeigh was executed by lethal injection at the U.S. federal penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana. Nichols received a life sentence for his role in this gruesome attack.
What drove McVeigh to commit this unspeakable act of violence towards innocent people killing nearly twenty children in the buildings’ day care center? He was a decorated Army Gulf War veteran and became very angry against the U.S. government for their roles in Ruby Ridge and Waco and wanted to inspire a violent uprising against what he saw as a tyrannical government. This is the life of Timothy McVeigh from war veteran to the worst domestic terrorist in U.S. history.

Greetings! I’m a newbie stumbling along, finding it all very fascinating. The proverbial “The more you learn the more you realize you don’t know s---!” seems to understate my start in the Indie Author realm.My first book is out in spite of myself, Amazon link is below. I chose non-fiction since it does center on US Federal Government dysfunction and waste, and suggestions to help reduce it. But it’s also a funny memoir of the possibly disturbing story of my 30 plus years being in the middle of a gong-show I still am strangely grateful for too. My valued Homies who helped develop it seem to love how it turned out, but it’s of most interest probably to fellow Feds or others toiling in government or similar giant disorganizations.
One of the many points I didn’t have much of a clue on was trying to get reviews. I’ve seen great content elsewhere on this site regarding that, including that one should not trade a review for a review.
