Rebecca (rebsbooks) How is everyone feeling about May 31st, 3pm at the Arsenal St. Panera in Watertown? I hope that will accomodate everyone.

Rebecca (rebsbooks) Can I assume that we are all planning on making this date/time?

I sure hope so! It would be so great if we could get everyone there--at least for our inaugural meeting!

Jen | 5 comments I'm going to try, but Saturdays are more difficult for me...I've got to work. If I can re-arrange my schedule, though, I'll be there.

Since I'm the boss, you'd think it wouldn't be too difficult :)

Danielle i can agree to that!

Aaron | 2 comments hey, sorry it took so long to post here. I only just joined this site recently and haven't had too much time to explore, but I did find your group. I might actually be able to meat up with you guys on the 31st, if I can figure out a way to get to Watertown from Cambridge (I'm carless)

Rebecca (rebsbooks) Welcome Aaron! We'd LOVE to have you there! Sorry it took so long to reply---I was doing some research. I think you'll want to take Bus 70.

See here:

It appears as though your stop on the T Map would be Arsenal St. and Arsenal Ct (although the T stop is not AT Arsenal Ct, acc. to the map)

But once you are in that area, you are all set! Here's the map that shows were Panera is:

Rebecca (rebsbooks) I might take the bus too, especially since I guess you can catch it at Central Sq. (Magazine and Green?) and it runs pretty often on Saturday...

message 8: by Kristen (new)

Kristen I'm definitely in! On the mbta website you can put in your address and the address of the destination and it will tell you several different ways to get there! Looking forward to it. Now tell me, what exactly are we bringing?

message 9: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebsbooks) Kristen,
I'm so glad you'll be able to make it! I figured everyone could bring one or two books from the list to swap? Not compulsory, of course...

I'm hoping to have Achebe's Things Fall Apart finished by then. And we can talk about what we are reading and maybe even select a book to read and discuss at our next meetup if this one is successful?
