Please post your nominations for our June adult book. Remember to check the book choices under the "List" heading, as I've recently updated the ones we've already read.

Priyanka I nominate Catch-22.
Have heard mixed reviews about it.

Also, Pride and Prejudice if I'm allowed to nominate multiple books.

Priyanka, only one nomination each, so I'll take the first one you mentioned. We will get to all of the books on the lists eventually, though :)

Kressel, no, we have not. I've read it myself once or twice, but doesn't look like the group has done it. Is that what you want to nominate?

I'm going to nominate The Name of the Rose

Kressel Housman | 99 comments Yes, I'll nominate it, and I have a specific reason. We recently read 1984, and the book Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business makes the argument that our present world is much more like Brave New World than 1984. I think it's an interesting thesis to research.

Hm, that's an intriguing premise. Cool, I like food for thought!
