For a book based on a true story, I selected The Man Who Walked Away: A Novel, which is loosely based on Albert Dadas, a psychiatric patient in the 1800s. The plot synopsis sounded interesting. So far it's slow going, but I'm hoping it'll pick up.

Casey is a good writer but I don't think there was enough to this book. I wanted more insight into Albert's life even if it was imagined.
