I'm thinking I'm going to buy The Figure of the Detective: A Literary History and Analysis -- that looks incredibly interesting!

Skye | 2105 comments Yes, it does, and it seems to be the type of analysis you would personally get into: the evolving of noir.

Sometimes when I travel but generally no. I love books in print.

Jan C (woeisme) | 35453 comments I do have two of the true crime, the mad sculptor and tinseltown. Haven't started mad sculptor yet but have been enjoying Tinseltown. And I did listen to a third book on the true crime list, Savage Harvest. This book was excellent, especially for those of us who have any (even if hazy) memory of the disappearance of Michael Rockefeller. I highly recommend that book.

I have been wanting to read that. So many recommendations, so little time. Sigh.
