Adult Romance about an English girl who grows up to be a supermodel

Read this in the mid nineties. The book is about an English girl from Liverpool England who grows up to be a supermodel.
It's set in the sixties I think.
Her first boyfriends a lawyer who helps her get her father out of jail.
She's discovered by an agent after a amateur photographer takes a photo of her and submits it to a competition. She becomes a very successful supermodel. Marries an Italian race car driver who has a problem with impotence in that he can only have sex right after a race. He ends up dying in a car crash.
She has an overbearing dockworker father, a step mother and two siblings. The sister is a talented accountant who teams up with a man who runs a junkyard/scrap business and turns it into a success.
The brother was an artist (perhaps).
