I felt that in the beginning too, but it later changes.

I agree with Brandy. I finished this last night and I did enjoy the different points of view and I think re reading Red Queen post prequel will make those points of view even better, but the second story drug on for a while.

I wanted to hurry and get it done because it has been so long since I read it I couldn't remember what happened. I feel like I would be lost if I started book 2 right now.

I finished Red Queen and I couldn't stand to wait until tomorrow so I started Glass Sword yesterday.
It was too big of a cliff hanger to not start right away. And I feel like it was a really good idea to have re-read RQ or I think I would have been a little lost, this one pick right up where book 1 left off.

Ok I don't hate this book but I don't think it is nearly as good as Red Queen. It is starting to feel like a "filler" book. Though it is interesting (view spoiler)[ I just met the grey man and wow his power of sight is incredible. and all the new powers, feeling a bit like xmen at this point but I like X-men. Now if they come across a bold guy in a wheelchair, I'm out! (hide spoiler)]
