So....I found a GREAT book for the write category and since the nominations for 2016 aren't open yet I thought I would mention it here - partly to help me remember to nominate it. Has anyone seen Deborah Freeman's 'by mouse and frog'? It's perfect, in my opinion. Imagination, collaboration, showing the characters writing...

That's a good one! Another one for the Write category (or Read, I suppose) is Inside this Book (are Three Books) by Barney Saltzberg. A mother gives her kids 3 blank books, and they fill them with stories, drawings, and poems.

And don't worry if you're not sure which category a book fits best. The selection committee will make the final decision and some books do fit into more than one category.
