Having trouble getting my hands on books

Anyone know somewhere I can "take out" books for cheap? Kindle is asking like twelve bucks for "Wolf in White Van" so I was kinda hoping there was a cheaper option. Library only has 2 copies and I'm #13 in line to get it (with possibly one month between each copy getting returned...).

Why don't you take a look around at some of the local used book stores. I have a couple near me and I can get paperbacks for like 50 cents. It is a good thing I can get them cheap since I buy a lot of books.
