Kris - My Novelesque Life (mynovelesquelife) I have read the first book in the Tom Tyler series (Maureen Jennings) and it really enjoyed it.

The premise sounds similar to Foyle's War, which I really enjoyed. I'm going to add the first book to my ever growing TBR.

That is one series I want to watch soon! And, it does sound similar. It is like Bess Crawford in comparison to writing - darkness and descriptions.
