I already read Within These Walls, but I'd be a lurker if that one wins. ;)
I think I may have THE SHUDDERING on kindle, yet to be read.....

message 16: by Marc-Antoine (new)

Marc-Antoine | 2888 comments Shitballs, just realized I ordered Within These Walls with Finders Keepers. I may not get till June. Sorry, 11, I may have to stick with the Shuddering...

I did that with another book I wanted to read. Sometimes you'll get lucky and Amazon will send the in-stock ones early. (Hasn't happened with my latest :( ).

message 19: by Marc-Antoine (new)

Marc-Antoine | 2888 comments I do it all the time to avoid shipping charges with Indigo (25$ minimum). Usually I don't match up two books I can't wait for, but I did in this instance...:-(

message 20: by Nickronomicon (new)

Nickronomicon | 156 comments Is there a theme for the month? I've had Swan Song Swan Song by Robert McCammon on my TBR for awhile now. (I know, I know...what kind of horror fan am I)

Psycho by Robert Bloch

message 22: by Tracy (new)

Tracy Fobes (tracyfobes) | 8 comments I'd like to suggest The Pilo Family Circus. Very weird tale, super-imaginative, not straight-up horror like Stephen King but very creepy nevertheless.

I'm in for an Ania Ahlborn, I've only read Seed.
The Supernatural Enhancements looks pretty interesting too.

No theme this month. As Ted Nugent put it, it's a free for all.

Let's see some more good suggestions.

message 28: by Justin (new)

message 29: by Ian (new)

Ian Welke (mewelke) | 29 comments I've noticed Molly Tanzer's Vermillion is getting pretty stellar reviews.

If it doesn't have to be a novel, Cody Goodfellow's short story collection Strategies Against Nature would be my recommendation.

message 30: by Justin (new)

Justin (justineaton) | 1099 comments I'm in the mood for a bryan smith, maybe Go Kill Crazy! The Late Night Horror Show or Blood and Whiskey if anyone would be interested in any of those.

Hi Robert, authors are not allowed to promote their own books for the monthly read but you can start your own buddy read and see if others will join you.

Robert, we don't want authors to promote themselves for monthly group reads. I absolutely suggest opening a thread in our Author/ Publisher Promotional folder for your book. Here is a link to that folder.

Feel free to start your own topic here.

Charles Garard (goodreadscomcharles_garard) | 44 comments Scot: I would like to suggest discussions about certain places to find good books where self-published writers have posted . . . such as Google+ (do authors even post books there?) Tumblr, Pinterest, Facebook groups (so many), Instagram (I am naive. Do authors post book covers here or is it just for annoying selfies?), Amazon sites, etc.

Thanks.
