Charlie | 5 comments Hey guys! Just wanted to point your attention to an upcoming MOOC (massive open online course) by Wisconsin University about Shakespeare. The platform it's on is called coursera, a very popular platform for free online courses.

The course is called "Shakespeare in Community" and would like to discuss four plays in the next four weeks:

Romeo and Juliet
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Much Ado About Nothing
The Tempest

I think it looks really interesting, it's completely free and it's a bit of a challenge if you haven't read the plays let but would then be even more rewarding.

I've signed up for it, maybe you too?

You can also take courses on Shakespeare and many other subjects at FutureLearn. Their website and upcoming courses is here: I have taken three free courses about Shakespearean works over the past nine months. I don't see any right now, but new courses are added or rerun on a regular basis.
