After several years of good intentions to this effect, I'm finally reading Vanessa Place's monolithic post-modern study of contemporary urban life LA MEDUSA. If anyone's been waiting for just such an opportunity to dive in to this one, join me. I'm bad at planning, so rather than arrange a group read, I'm just diving in. But I'll be chipping away at this one for a little while and would welcome a chance to compare notes. At 150 pages in, it's fantastic.
I also have her Dies: A Sentence on deck, should anyone be interested in that one next month or so.
More modernist / post-modernist mega works! (Granted, I still have to read Miss MacIntosh, My Darling as well.)
