Why is Jenny(Jamie's sister) so hostile towards Claire?
because she would not heal Ian Sr and she always takes Jamie away
Partly...there is more to that answer....
and for the 20 years she was gone she was safe and well fed while Jenny and her family struggled and Ian repeatedly got arrested which caused him to get sick in the first place.
Now to come up with a question.....Ok in Voyager someone boards the Artemis and kidnaps Claire...what is the name of the person, what ship is he from, and while on that ship who does Claire meet for the first time?

Claire and Brianna hate wearing whale bone corsets. What part of a whale is used to make them? I apologise that this is not strictly from the book but corsets are mentioned so many times and I find this a fascinating fact.
This is very interesting. Whalebone corsets or stays are made from the filtering system inside the whale's mouth. When the whale opens it's mouth to feed it filters out the water and the krill are left caught in the whalebone filter. They used this for corsets because of the flexability.
Yes . Glad I am not the only one who thinks it is interesting.As they call them whale bone corsets I always presumed they were made from whale bone. But they are made from Baleen the long strips of flexible material that hang down in some whales mouths to filter out the krill. Great general knowledge question.

2nd one died with her 1 child shortly after the Culloden Rising
3rd one was accidentally shot by her 3rd huspand, Hector, in their effort to escape Scotland along with the gold for the uprising
