Oh this is so much fun! I love the whole answering part but hate coming up with the question. I don't want to disappoint. heheheOK, here goes:
When Jamie took the beating from Angus Mhor for Laoghaire's wantonness, per her father, who was it for? Who was Laoghaire being wanton with?
Tina wrote: "Oh goodie!! I stumped you :P If you blink, you'll miss the answer."I don't think it was Dougal McKenzie but it just keeps rolling around in my head. Could it possibly be?
No, it's not Dougal or Jamie. In Outlander we witness the beating but the name isn't revealed until much much later in another book. That's my hint :)
Sue, I'm so excited about the news! A movie couldn't have done it justice. A mini-series is so much better.
I knew it was only revealed later as I remember thinking that took a while to come up. But I just cant recall who it was. Probably as its a minor character. Ugg! please some one get it right or I will be forced to look it up!
Oh my gosh, this is killing me! It's on the tip of my tongue! I know I know it, but can't think of his name. I'm about to go search in the book if someone doesn't get it soon! lol
Tina wrote: "Is it Laoghaire's first husband who died...the father of the 2 girls?"No that was Hugh MacKenzie. Let me know if you guys want a hint of which book to look in :)
I just read it two days ago!! But I've been reading Divergent & Insurgent since then, so I've moved, mentally, from the past to the future, lol. It's a guy that is mentioned only in this context, in Echo, towards the end, when Jaime is talking to Loghead. It was a married guy, who was a known philanderer. Ugh. I can't remember his name...I just spent the past hour reading past questions, lol, this is really great, and I hope to participate more--with a correct answer, too!

Ann wrote: "I think it is in Voyager?"No it's not mentioned in the Voyager. Christina mentioned Echo. Christina has it all right but she's missing his name.
I'm going to post it, if I'm not supposed to, just ignore me. This may be an easy one:Jaime's cave is said to have been on the south face of the hill about 40 feet above a whitish boulder known as_________________. Bonus (do you know why it's called that?)

That's what I wrote yesterday; I guess it didn't post or something :)

Leap O'the Cask.
Its a true legend incorporated into Voyager involving Fergus and how he lost his hand. He was bringing a cask of ale to Jamie and was set upon by British soldiers. He was hopping about and taunting the soldiers when one sliced at him with a sword and chopped off his hand. Thus, causing the cask to tumble over the burn.
Jen I think its your turn even though Christina has not said so. She is new and probably does not realise she needs to say you are correct. So off you go!
Christina wrote: "It's a guy that is mentioned only in this context, in Echo, towards the end, when Jaime is talking to Loghead."... Loghead, ftw!
Oh, ok! I was waiting for the notification. Lol. Continuing in that same vein: Who is the Dunbonnet and why is said person called by that monicker?
Jen, Sinatra fan wrote: "Close, Catherine! It is Jamie, but that's not why..."Didn't he wear a big brown hat to hide his red hair while living in the cave?
Yep! So, Catherine and Brunhilde each got half of the question right. Whoever wants to go or you can both go?
Sorry, I had checked back several times, and there were no responses. Then, I couldn't find it again! Yes, Jen, you were right :D I know you know that now; sorry for the delay.
ok...So when Jamie and Claire were planning to return to Scotland..with Ian...what was discovered under the house? and someone was killed..who was it?
