sorry about that.

message 913: by Ann (new)

Ann (sleepyguider) | 198 comments Thats not fair she answered your question correctly so its Tinas Go!

message 914: by Brunhilde (new)

Brunhilde | 158 comments Ann wrote: "Thats not fair she answered your question correctly so its Tinas Go!"

Okay with me. I got confused with who jumped ship and Claire's slave. When I realized I had the wrong person I couldn't remember the name of her slave to know if Tina was right or not.
Again, my deepest apologizes.
Certainly, Tina your turn.

message 915: by Tina (new)

Tina | 162 comments Thanks, but it's really not a big deal. I know who you are talking about, but I won't give the answer just in case someone wants to ask the question again...

Let's stay on the ending of Voyager...

My question: What island did Gillie die on? and How?

message 916: by Jen (at last!) (new)

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments Jamaica

message 917: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments don't know which island...but she tried to pass through the stone circle in the cave, and didn't she burn up because it all went wrong?

message 918: by Tina (new)

Tina | 162 comments not Jamaica

and she was in a cave but didn't get the chance to go through the stones because something happened

message 919: by Jen (at last!) (new)

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments Oh crap! Hispaniola...

I got confused for a second! lol

message 920: by Tina (new)

Tina | 162 comments correct Jen, Now how did she die?

message 921: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Is my answer for how she died correct?

message 922: by Jen (at last!) (last edited May 02, 2012 09:37PM) (new)

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments Claire killed her with an axe when Geilie tried to kill Ian Jr. in the cave at Abandawe.

message 923: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Is my answer for how she died correct? I know she got into a fight with Jamie..but didn't something go wrong with her incantation?

message 924: by Tina (new)

Tina | 162 comments Jen is correct...Gillie went to Hispaniola with young Ian and Jamie and Claire followed her. They found her in a cave around some standing stones. Gillie was going to go back and get Brianna and before she could Claire killed her. Sliced her neck with an axe.

Jen, it is your turn.

message 925: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments I thought she bashed her over the head. Remember Joe Abernathy had her examine a skull with head trauma and on the first read it's hard to catch it was Geillie.

message 926: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments I'm confused!!!!

message 927: by Jen (at last!) (last edited May 02, 2012 08:45PM) (new)

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments Ok, here comes my question! Let's go for easy.

What is the significance of the little carved snake Jamie carries in his sporran?

message 928: by Fawn (new)

Fawn | 404 comments His brother Willie made it for him.

message 929: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments Did Claire slice Geillie's neck?

message 930: by Jen (at last!) (last edited May 02, 2012 09:57PM) (new)

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments Correct, Fawn! Your turn for a question! :)

Well, Sue, I can't recall the specifics. We know Claire killed Geilie with an axe. It's found near the end of Voyager. Plus, I think when she holds the skull in Joe's office it has a blow to the head(details are fuzzy, though). It's later revealed that the skull is Geilie's.

message 931: by Fawn (new)

Fawn | 404 comments What is the name of the person who was an admirer of Jamie's Mother and helped Claire save Jamie at Wentwerth?

message 932: by Mary G. (new)

I don't think Claire actually hit Geilie over the head. Remember Joe Abernathy draws attention to the neck vertebre and mentioned that someone tried to remove her head. But, the skull was smooth and intact.

message 933: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Lord John?

message 934: by Mary G. (new)

Voyager, Pg. 228 when Joe Abernathy and Claire are looking at the skeleton that was brought in by Horace Thompson to be identified. Claire says that she thinks this person (which they know it is a women) was killed.......

"A broken neck" Thompson asked

Joe: "yeah, but more than that, I think." "See here? The bone's not just cracked, it's gone right there. Someone tried to cut this lady's head clean off. With a dull blade,"

message 937: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments Guess it's time for a reread of Voyager!!! I'm into DIA right now. Thanks.

message 938: by Diane (new)

Diane | 1360 comments I thought it was interesting the Joe Abernathy was discussing this and Geillis was known and Mrs. Abernathy in Jamacia and she was a slave owner. I always wondered if his relatives were slaves of hers.

message 939: by Jen (at last!) (new)

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments I always assumed that Ishmael was an ancestor of Joe's. :)

message 940: by Catherine (new)

During the Witch Trial in Cranesmuir, who was Claire's first knight in shining armor?

message 943: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments Ned Gowan? If I'm correct, I won't be home for a week to repost, so could someone give a question?

message 944: by Mary G. (new)

Mary G. (nonometoo) | 319 comments Sue is correct, does someone have a question?

message 945: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments I do........

Jamie was ery badly injured in one of the colonial battles....how did Claire fix his hand and what happened to the injured appendage?

message 946: by Tina (new)

Tina | 162 comments I believe that he injured a finger and Claire had to cut it off, and then they buried it. yes??

message 947: by Ann (new)

Ann (sleepyguider) | 198 comments Yes but it was Buried with Ian Senior.

Who said he would keep it for Jamie until he arrived in Heaven to collect it. This happened because he was saying how he was looking forward to geting his missing leg back once he was dead.

message 948: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Ian Sr....because he had lost his leg, and had a wooden peg

message 949: by Tina (new)

Tina | 162 comments What does Ian Sr. die of?

message 950: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Comsumption(Tuberculosis)
