Having crossed the Atlantic on a variety of ships. How did Jamie and Claire finally arrive in the new world?
They washed ashore, clinging to a piece of wood? Didn't a hurricane hit the boat they were on and Claire fell overboard and Jamie jumped in after her?
Tina is correct and was first. All that way and they arrive on a single piece of wood. They don't even know where they are.

Well he married her, stood by her when she returned and raised her child as his own. I think thats love. Your question should have excluded both husbands.
When Claire arrives on Hispaniola, whose dresses are too small for her? What does she have to wear instead?
The dresses belong to Ermenegilda, Father Fogden's deceased wife. Clair wears one of the father's old robes since nothing else will fit.
