Part of the Gold originally destined to help Bonnie Prince Charlie. It was then divided three ways for safety. Jocasta hid it in her husbands coffin and Mr Buggs recognised her and stole some back.
yep...I wish I had a few bars of that! lolyou are all correct..it was gold that Jacosta had that was being held for the financing of the Rising..

Ok I'm not too good at thinking of questions but the game must go on. Who was it that Claire had the option of marrying instead of Jamie?
(I admit I had to look up the name, but I knew the patronage part right off the bat.)Continuing on the topic of Fergus here goes:
What is unique about one of Fergus and Marsali's children? What problems does it pose to them in the community of Fraser's Ridge?

Henri Chrisitan was born with dwarfism {Is that how you put that?} And, because the people of the time did not understand the condition, the baby were thought to be evil and the parents, too.
Charles Dickens, " A Christmas Carol". I thought it was quite funny when, found by young Ian and his indian friends, that when Ian told them he was coming to celebrate Christmas, Jamie replied "Christmas, Bah Humbug!"
What did Jamie and his men take from the English army right before the battle of Prestopans. Hint: it was two things.
During the storm that blew Jamie and Claire onto the shores of America, there was a strange phosphorescence light seen on and around the ship. What was it?
I think they were in North Carolina....but it wasn't Fergus..it was Ian..wasn't it? he won him playing cards at one of the pub/inns

My favorite part is when young Jamie ask her who is in the back parlor and she says "the Grizzler and her brother". And when Bree calls Laoghaire a murderess.
