Okay I'll go. James(or Jamie) is the name of Jenny and Ian's first child. What was the name of number two child?
Might be a little easy, but it keeps the game going!! It's good to see the boards busy again. It was quiet during the Holidays.
Was it a girl named Catherine? I seem to remember Claire coming upon Jamie out in the hallway murmuring to "Kitty" in the night.
Yay! yes, I forgot to add that Ellen was her middle name. Ok, what pet did Jamie give Claire when returning from the gathering (sorry i believe it was actually after Jamie's aunt Jacosta married and they were returning home) and what did she name her pet?
I think it was a cat...but I can't think for the life of me what the name was!found it...Adso
not sure if that's right...but I know he was a pet
ok...this one should be really easy! seeing as I can't remember much! I do need to re-read them all...what animal (other than Adso, the cat) lived in the house..sort of? and why was everyone afraid of it?
Pig...huge pig...I think people were afraid of it because of it size and it ate everything in sight. It was a mean pig. it was so big and I believed chased people off. They kept it at a certain place outside in their property. Not sure now exactly where outside.
she lived under the house! the white sow!and yes she was a mean creature! if ever there was a good guard animal! lol

Yeah I thought it was under the house or somewhere close...
told you it was an easy one! lol I need to re-read them all..but I'm in the midst of An Echo in the Bone right now!
Catherine wrote: "told you it was an easy one! lol I need to re-read them all..but I'm in the midst of An Echo in the Bone right now!" so I got it right then? I was not about asking a question or not... Lol
I am guessing I got it right...I am going to ask this question in case: When Briana went back in time to find Jamie and Claire and was at Lollybrock what did Lagohaire ( sorry I forgot how to spell her name) try to take away from Briana and insisted it should belong to her but of course Briana refused, saying it belonged to her mother Claire? Jamie had given it to Claire on their wedding day. What was the object?
Well, I did second guess myself for a moment there. :) Following the trend of gifts...
What did Murtagh give Claire as a wedding present?
Boy you stumped me on this question. Can't remember him giving her one. Gotta put my thinking cap on!!!
Wait, oops, my bad ladies! I put the wrong name. Let me fix the question.
What did Hugh Munro give Claire as a wedding present?
only other think i can think of is a dagger or knife to defend herself with she need to...Good question!
he gave her a chunk of an Amber stone..and if I'm not mistaken there was something frozen in the stone...but perhaps not

yeah....you got it right...didn't you read post 619?!?!? silly girl
I was going to say Murtagh gave her a Horse if not the knife...Sorry Catherine, I missed the message 619...lol..silly me
Catherine you are right! It was a dragonfly trapped in amber...hence the title of the 2nd book. ;)Sidenote: Murtagh gave Ellen boar tusk bracelets which Jenny in turn gave Claire...
In Outlander, Hugh Munro does give her a dead rabbit when they first meet him and Jamie even says "it's a wedding present". I know I read that part just today in the chapter titled "We meet a Beggar", or did I miss something?I know that eventually she did get the piece of amber with the dragonfly.
here's a question...what was Fergus' claim to fame...in France before he was "adopted"? there were a couple things he was "known" for...
is it ok that I asked? or do you want to ask, Carren?
Sue wrote: "Steal any mail going through that Jamie wanted to look at?"yes..buthe was a spy.....
you were correct Sue..he was apickpocket and he intercepted mail...
Diane wrote: "didn't he brush the ladies hair in the brothel to relax them?"not sure about the hair brusghing...but that may be correct too... can't remember that one...I know he was raised in a brothel
Sue wrote: "Speaking of Fergus, what is his real name?"Claudel?
If I'm right can someone else ask the next one, please?
