I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but we now have a bookshelf dedicated to publications from members of the Guild :3 I've only added two so far, so please feel free to add more! I'll be looking forward to seeing what's included!

A reminder when adding books:
Please be sure to add it to the correct shelf! You can do this after clicking 'add to group bookshelf' by clicking 'choose shelf'. Toggle 'books-by-fwg-members' in the pop-up, then close, then 'Save Changes'.

Altivo Overo | 10 comments Good idea. I've added some, will add more later. I notice we can rate them. I wonder if it averages multiple ratings or just changes to the last one entered.

I would be curious to toy with that feature. Later perhaps we can pick a book and one of us can give it a one star while the other gives it a five star, just to see where the sticks land.

Steven Mando | 2 comments The first books are not on the right shelf - sorry, can'td do much from a tablet, even writing this is a pain

The view on this comp is weird for the bookshelves. I think I caught all of them though.

Tarl | 1 comments Are we allowed to put our non-furry published works up on the shelf as well?

Maybe a second shelf for non-furry stuff?

I'd be down for that, as long as it's written by members of the guild. I'll make the shelf now :3

Also, please feel to edit the books already on the furry shelf if they're not furry-related x.x I kind of breezed through with a bunch of them just to get them there without looking at the synopsis >.<

A huge thanks to everyone who's added books through the weekend. A reminder though to please please PLEASE remember to put them on the appropriate shelves! Also, please be sure it hasn't already been added. There are so many books in the fandom that we don't need doubles or triples X3

Hey - would someone who isn't a contributor to Civilized Beasts (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) mind adding it to this list of Animal Poetry?

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/9...

That would be super nice!

Stephen Coghlan | 13 comments Let me try to rekindle this thread. New news anyone?

message 14: by Watts (new)

Watts Martin | 4 comments Well, it's perhaps worth noting that my novel Kismet came out earlier this week.

Yes!
That's what I'm talking about. Well done.

Stephen Coghlan | 13 comments Alright then, my turn. In a few more weeks, my flagship novel, GENMOS: Gathering Storms, is going to be released from Thurston Howl Publications.

I'm not going to spoil too much here, but I will offer this.

Here is a free short, involving one of the characters.
Read it on Goodreads
https://www.goodreads.com/story/show/...

Or Smashwords
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

If it interests you at all.

Joel Kreissman | 2 comments Well, my novel The Pride of Parahumans was re-released by Thurston Howl at the end of the year.

Stephen Coghlan | 13 comments I jumped the gun and ordered a used one from a guy who thought it was related to the Manga. Boy, was his face red.

message 21: by Kris (new)

Kris Schnee (krisschnee) Hello! My book "Thousand Tales: Extra Lives" is a new one, written to stand alone from the others in the series like "The Digital Coyote" from the summer of 2016. I'm currently rewriting "Learning to Fly", which will probably be a short novel (60-80K words) released by March. I want to get at least three books out this year! My otter transformation interactive story is on hold for the moment.

message 22: by Tristan (last edited Feb 01, 2017 06:34AM) (new)

Tristan Wolf (t-blackwolf) My most recent book-length manuscripts are my 2015 and 2016 NaNoWriMo novels (my fourth and fifth wins, respectively) which are, at present, exclusives to my Patreon patrons. My 2017 NaNo will be the final book of the trilogy, and Grayson's Triad is slated for publication (one at a time) starting in 2018.

Prior books include The Man With Two Shadows (itself with a sequel in the works) and The Laputan Factor, which had a rather enthusiastic review on YouTube. My longest ongoing work has been Expectations and Permissions, which began as a short work on SoFurry and for which I recently posted (gulp) chapter 44! Another ten or twelve should finish the trick, if I'm at all lucky. Sometimes, the characters take over.

Our characters are hard to stop. I assume you've lost sleep over yours.

message 24: by Tristan (new)

Tristan Wolf (t-blackwolf) Oh, far more than once! I think they're forming a union to lobby me to write more per day. While working on all these other projects, I found two new stories step up to be counted! Can't complain; it's feast or famine, it seems, and feast is better!

message 25: by Stephen (new)

Stephen Coghlan | 13 comments Alright. So I've added both Seven Deadly Sins: Furry Confessions and Dogs of War to the bookshelf.

Has JUST been published by Thurston Howl Publications.
