2025 December Pick It For Me Challenge

Hi again, Elizabeth!
Whew I made it before the end of her practice! WOO! I ended up throwing a couple more from your TBR on here because we just have very different reading styles and I figured you could get some more checked off your list before the end of the year.

New Year's Day:
TBR: Huntsman(Oct pub)
NEW: Vampires of El Norte (Oct pub) *Just read this one last month.*


Valentine's Day:
TBR: Blood Beneath the Snow (red on cover)
NEW: Dirty (kind of an HEA but really not) *Even the MC says this isn’t an HEA. It was dark and intense and more realistic than your everyday HEA, which is why it landed here.*


St. Patrick's Day:
TBR: Sweet Venom (snake on cover)
NEW: Morbidly Yours (set in Ireland, green cover, snake-like character in story!) *Detours some from your usual genres, but I just read this and really enjoyed it. It’s probably more in the HEA category, but since it fit all three criteria for this one, I kept it here! Plus morticians are rarely heroes!*


Mother's Day/Father's Day:
TBR: Pestilence (MC has to be old!)
NEW: Year One (Parent MCs) *I’ve read this series and, while the second book was kind of slow, IMHO, this one and the last one I enjoyed.*


Independence Day:
TBR: Iron & Embers (MC sounds fiery!)
NEW: Naked in Death (fiery MC) *This one could have landed in Ireland too as the hero is Irish, but the heroine is way too fiery not to take this spot. I’m slow to go through this series, but every time I read one, I remember why I like it.*


Veteran's Day/Remembrance Day:
TBR: Leave Me Behind (current military)
NEW: Whiteout (MC is former military) *Just read this one recently, but it fit here better.*


Christmas:
TBR: Throne of Glass (colorful cover)
TBR: Monsters Under Mistletoe: A Monstrous Holiday Anthology (holiday-themed) *Wanted to get a holiday-ish book on your list!*


New Year's Eve:
TBR: Dead as a Doornail (been on TBR for 4 years!)
TBR: Daughter of the Blood (Been on TBR for 4 years!) *Figured I’d help you clean out some oldies before the end of the year!*
