I also tried that with no results. I think it would depend on the type of books on your kindle. Mine are mysteries and paranormal.
I've already suggested the The Thursday Murder Club series for the 'platonic friendship' prompt, and now it's occurred to me that, at least in the early books, Ibrahim does a Pilates class. And of course, the main characters, who are all old enought to be grandparents, start off in a mystery solving club.
Finally got round to charging my kindle so I could search. Got 41 results, some for Pontius. Here are the ones with more than one mention:Girls Can't Hit by T.S. Easton - 12 mentions
The Lighthouse Witches by C.J. Cooke - 5 mentions
You Are Here by Eva Woods - 4 mentions
Echo by Thomas Olde Heuvelt - 3 mentions
Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella - 3 mentions
Contacts by Mark Watson - 2 mentions
Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan - 2 mentions
The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley - 2 mentions
The Manifesto on How to Be Interesting by Holly Bourne - 2 mentions
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig - 2 mentions
Such Sharp Teeth by Rachel Harrison - 2 mentions
I'm assuming the search only works on those downloaded, so I expect I'll find more.
Okay. This came up in my kindle: Playworld by Adam Ross. Seems to have actual Pilates in it.If you are willing to bend the prompt to yoga:
Such Sheltered Lives by Alyssa Sheinmel
Please Don't Lie by Christina Baker Kline
Tiny Daggers by Caroline Corcoran
House of Idyll by Delilah S. Dawson - has a full on hot yoga scene
Dollface by Lindy Ryan has some references/scenes talking about baby goat yoga? lol. It’s an ARC I haven’t gotten to yet but color me intrigued.

I read All Fours Recently, and she's actually going to a strength training class regularly - weight lifting, body weight exercises, etc. She might try pilates at some point, I don't remember, but I remembered the strength training classes because that's what I do for exercise.
Just as a head's up, this book is very well-written but a bit disturbing. I finished it but gave it 2 stars.
If in GR you click on QUOTES under the Community Tab, you can search 'pilates' and a host of quotes with Pilates come up with book info.Lagree doesn't show up.

Wow! I scrolled through the 29 pages and found a book! Most quotes were related to Pilate and were of a religious bent, but I found a quote for Notorious Nineteen by Janet Evanovich (which I have read), a book with a space opera label (Blade of the Reaper), several romances, and this mystery: What We Saw. It is YA, but that is OK for me. And it is available at my local library.
Quote: “The garage door is open at Ben's house when we pull into the drive. Adele Cody is almost hidden by Bounty eight-packs in a stack nearly as tall as she is. She flits in and out of the shelving racks wearing yellow yoga pants and a black sports bra.
Her abs are clearly defined, the muscles in her arms ropy and straining like an aging pop star's, with too little fat on her body and too much Pilates on her schedule."
I put "Pilates class novel" in Google, and I found a book which looks to be at least funny. The Pilates Class by Stevie Turner
The blurb lists 7 or so characters who are all very different, in so many ways. The teacher is in for a surprise.
I don't care if it's funny - or preachy about how we should never judge a book by its cover - or even if it's non-fic about an actual class. This is my pick, unless it is insuffrable. I've certainly read worse, lol.
I did a search on my kindle for any mention of someone doing pilates or taking a pilates class and it turned up these two:Here for the Wrong Reasons
The Lovers
Copied this off my Google search:"Novels that mention Pilates include:
The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty: This novel mentions the practice in passing.
Never Saw Me Coming: This novel's summary mentions the main character does "yogalates," though the reference within the book is brief.
The Pilates Class by Stevie Turner: A humorous, light-reading novel where the plot binds a group of diverse characters who all share the same Pilates instructor.
Additionally, Pilates instructors are featured as love interests or main characters in several contemporary romance novels, including:
All For You by Jennifer Probst
Hard Hitter by Sarina Bowen
Give Me More by Sara Cate
Paint the Stars by Christina Lee and Nyrae Dawn
Hit and Run by Tara Wyatt
Fall into Temptation by Lucy Score
Resisting Roots by Audrey Carlan"
Not sure how accurate this list is but some sound like they may be worth a shot.
I'm reading Nowhere Girl: Life as a Member of ADHD's Lost Generation at the moment, and in the introduction, the author mentions something that a fellow participant said to her at a Pilates class. She does also say that she no longer attends, though, so that may well be the only mention.

PERFECT ty
Such a specific prompt! I like the idea of stretching it to include yoga so I will definitely do that. Does anyone know if any of the characters in Emily Henry or Katherine Center novels does Pilates or yoga? I’d like to read one of theirs this year. I have never read a Katherine Center and have only read Happy Place and People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry.
Thank you!

I just tried it and only had one mention. What I assume is a very very minor character in The Fix mentioned she was going to go to a Pilates class lol.
