Nikki goes after Oliver, alone, after he abducts Lacey. Caitlin secretly follows her and saves her life. Fool hearted or no other choice? Will there be repercussions?

It was a dumb move. She's lucky that Caitlin followed her or both she and Lacey would be dead.

Dumb move. We talked about this before. It is stupid, and a good agent should know better. I agree, Caitlin saved the day by following Nikki.

Mystery writers, even female writers, like to make female agents stupid, although I'm sure that isn't their goal. It drives me crazy.

There should be repercussions, but I don't know if that will happen.

Female agents going after the villain on their own is really starting to bug me. I can understand this happening once or twice when there is no alternative, but not as often as it happens in the books I'm reading.
