Some details of the book:
pale purple cover. quite old book. published at least 15-20 years or more. female author, she is the counselor and most likely lived in NY city. If I am not wrong, it is something 5 rules or 7 rules or something on the title There are quite some famous people including celebrities and company top management as her patience many self training advices such as breathing, concentrating, and mind setting etc. by giving the sample cases based on her clients.
Some stories I strongly remember are: Successful young business man ended up homeless. He always worried about his future picturing his failure. She advised to remove that mind set or he will be how he pictures about himself. and he got it.
CEO of the company. unpopular among the staffs. almost getting married but unsuccessful. The advice was to say only good, positive things to everyone around him for one day. 24 hours or 3 days or something like that. if failed, start all over again. must complete that duration. It was very hard. he in the end made it. then his world got upside down to good.
As the book has many real sample cases and the author's advice is based on these stories. Easy to read and you can implement into your life.
