Hii so basically I’ve been writing a book since fifth grade (finished first edition last year), but I realized that the storyline is confusing, and the setting (originally England) needs to be changed to a fictional world. I’m really stuck with names and developing everything so I’m just at a standstill right now. Any tips??
Hey! Yesss I've literally faced the same thing SO MANY TIMESSS! I do have some suggestions, but I'm not sure how great they are.
So for the names thing, I just like to look up common/unique names - based on the vibe I'm going for - for whatever timezone I'm writing about!
And developing is so hard! And that sucks that you can't stick with your setting! Do you wanna dm me your kinda basic plot so I can see if maybe I can help?

Ya'll i need some help! I have been writing a book and I'm stuck!! I feel like I'm rushing through things when I'm only on the first chapter😭😭Do y'all have any advice ! how to slow down and fill up chapters Like methods?
But one thing I can tell you is don’t worry abt going to fast! Get the plot down, cause afterwards you can sit back and look at the whole project and know what needs to be added, and that will fill stuff up!
