*switches brain from toxic fanon ship to toxic canon ship* (aside: any ship involving Coriolanus Snow is, by default, toxic)there is.... so much to unpack here. Like Cryo being... well Coryo. So possessive, and just, yk. There is also a power imbalance there. The toxicity was kinda the point tho. They aren't some beautiful love story that ended tragically, it ended tragically because it was toxic.
Of course, I've seen a lot of debate Lucy Gray's intentions in the woods, but in the end, it's still a bad situation either way.
However, with all that, I can't deny that they def had done cute moments, and I did sorta ship them at times. Even more so in the movie, if I remember right, because, dang, that chemistry.

they really did have some cute scenes tho. like, the conflicting emotions TBOSAS put me through lol
Yeah, I agree with what most of you said. If Coriolanus was a better person (which is not possible) they could be okay together but with him how he is, that would never work.

can we just acknowledge the killer acting in that scene tho? I saw it, and I was like, give the man an award XF
but yeah, I feel like Coryo was never truly that great of a person. I mean, I don't believe anyone's born evil, but by even the beginning of the book? you can see the signs. and he was always way too possessive. but at the same time they had their moments, and the chemistry in the movie was just yes
i love lucy gray. i haaate coryo. he annoys me. a lot. he's toxic, manipulative, and just plain old mean.
