Agreed. I get book recs of of tiktok, and i have to sort through them jus tin case becaus eof how many books were so obviously written by AI. especially with romance books.
Art is now created by AI, you can edit videos and songs with AI, you can record your voice talking and AI can make you sing.
My essays are graded by AI, and if i wanted to i wouldn't have to write about the topic, i could write about whatever i want, throw in some long words at the end and get an A+.
My sister's surgeon uses AI to take notes during our consultation.
Its ruining creativity and the need for hard work.

"Its ruining creativity and the need for hard work." yas tessie 👏👏

ai may have a lot of benefits, and it is needed in some industries like medical stuff or whatever, but in the end we will also lose creativity and work ethic over it. and lowkey it's just another form of instant gratification, because now, for example, if you want to draw a picture, instead of mulling over every detail for a few hours you'll spend a few minutes typing up a prompt and watching an image generate. or you want to write an essay, and instead of first planning it out, then filling it in and rereading and editing and whatnot, you can just get one with 10 times less time spent using ai. which sounds good for efficiency and stuff, but instant gratification is never good. we're already seeing negative effects from social media, we don't need ai to add to the list.

♪‧◃✮ᴍᴀʀs✮▹‧♪ ~matching w my gang~ | 55 comments Exactly- I think that school's are so hypocritical when it comes to using AI. I really think that AI shouldn't be used at all for school assignments of any sort. What's so ironic is that the 'AI detectors' that teachers use are literally just AI used to find AI. And a lot of the time, the 'detector' will detect AI in essays that students actually wrote themselves. I've had multiple friends get failing grades because of said 'detectors' that told the teacher they used AI for writing.

Unfortunately, a precedent has been established in the United States, where corporations are granted legal rights that treat them essentially as "persons."

♪‧◃✮ᴍᴀʀs✮▹‧♪ ~matching w my gang~ | 55 comments That's actually ridiculous. Our society is one step away from collapse at this point.

charli marie ౨ৎ NO RIGHTS…..AI is so out of hand already. Technology in general is getting out of hand. People are using AI for everything which is just going to make humanity stupider and lazier. We keep coming up with unnecessary technology when we should be looking for the cure to cancer, teaching kids to accept everyone, actually embrace the world around us. But instead we’re glued to our phones.
