Ugh. 43.2% yellow. I'll take it off the spreadsheet and go back to the drawing board. I knew it was close.

I always start with tineye...it's wrong a lot of the time...so just a starting point...keep asking here if you aren't sure.

I'll look later when I get home
I don’t mind checking tineye myself at all. It kind of just slipped my mind. I have a 4 yellow option I can probably read, I was just excited because that one also worked for the mini (MPG Travel). I’ll do a quick check of my colored shelves again this weekend to see if I have anything for 4 yellow or 8 red that works for the mini, but if not, I can just find something to go ahead and claim one of the colored cards. I just always like my books to count for both if they can. 🤣

Note: the skip yellow I claimed also works for 4yellow so that’s an option as well
There is a 4 yellow on the pixie shelf if it comes down to it.
For the mini, "Read a book with the letters BYPASS in title (subtitle incl.) and/or author's name" can be a combo of the author's name and the title, correct? If so, I'm going to go ahead and read
for our 8 Red and use it for BYPASS as well.

I finished my book The Village Healer’s Book of Cures, a book based on the real witch trials in 17th century England. So far this month has been a busy month at work with lots of changes therefore it's unlikely I will be able to finish Henry V: The Astonishing Rise of England's Greatest Warrior King on time. I will carry over that book and focus on reading Obernewtyn instead, which qualifies for the mini challenge.
Will have more reading time in April :-)
For Bypass I found The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie MeyerHas anyone read this...it's a shorty that goes with the Twilight Series which I liked and read a long time ago...
Some calibrating on the SSsOn the mini...not on the March Tab
@Ashley...The Girl In Between
@Christina...Knotted By the Wolf Prince
5 Mini tasks remaining...
2 Read a book with MPG Travel or tagged minimum 10x
4 Read a book with MPG Alternate History or tagged minimum 10x
19 Read a book with the letters BYPASS in title (subtitle incl.) and/or author's name
25 Read a book that features a restaurant - back up at #20
30 Read a book with a spaceship on the cover
19 unclaimed tasks left on March tab
If everyone can claim what you know you'll read for the balance of March, that would be great.
We have 2 pixie books to use and we'll try to match them up with a mini task if needed.
Thanks everyone...approx 8 days remaining :)

The Girl in Between is on the March tab in Hand 3.
I just added
for 8 Red and MPG Alternate History. I should be able to start it tomorrow, assuming Hoopla let's me borrow it. I won't be able to get to anything else that is not already on the spreadsheet.

I've used the book I'm listening to now for UNO for the mini as well. I've added a quick audiobook for travel & added it to the UNO spreadsheet. That will be it for me for this month though.
I found a book I can read quickly for BYPASS. I might be able to find something for spaceship on the cover, too, but I'll look more a little later.
Thank you all for the updates and I hope the books you found are good!RealtorWorld has gotten busy...my audio books keep me going on reading...but checking in here has been difficult. I appreciate you all!

I went ahead and put Moonraker in the 4 Yellow spot as it also worked for the mini task Spaceship on the cover...MariaJo...if you want to read for it...feel free to change.
All of our mini tasks are now covered...yeah!
Just over 6 days remaining...we'll ask everyone to have a look at your current claims on the March tab and the March mini tab. Let's resolve that everything claimed will for sure be finished for March. If you can, claim additional, please do so now. We're close to being able to finish...hopefully we'll make it :)
timer> https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...
Remember if you need a card that's not available, just list your book at the bottom and Maria Jo or I will work on moving things around to make it fit.
We have 1 more Pixie book we can use.
Thanks to those who have checked in with your status...if you haven't checked in recently, please do...we want to hear how you are doing :)
I will focus on finishing the books that I currently have in the sheet, which I am on track to read by the end of the month. Got some good reading done this month as well.

No problem...I totally get 'wonky'
Happy reading everyone!
Doing some SS Maintenance this morning@Karen...could you add Unsung Hero to our Read/UNO shelf
@Ashley...could you add Have I Told You This Already? to your UNO shelf

‼️Team E.T.‼️ Our April deck is ready for claims‼️
A few notes for April:
📗Like the last two months, let's limit our claims to what we'll read in 1 week until we get to the mini. There are lots of books to read, so don't feel like you need to hold back...we are up to 17 hands this month so we'll need a bit more reading to get the whole lot done.
📗We have 12 Draw 2 cards this month. For these, it is super helpful to put all the extra things your book works for on the spreadsheet so we can fit the books into Draw 2 cards.
📗Wild Draw 4 cards have been replaced by Overload cards, which are worth 30 points. We have 2. Overload cards are also cover color cards, BUT they require different colors.
The colors you can use for Overload cards are the following:
- purple
- pink
- orange
- brown
- grey
- white
- black
Summary of color cards also on our SS to the right of the deck

Sorry. I fixed it.
@Nistha...your book The Walnut Mansion has been relocated to Hand 16 to make room for another book :)
Tammie wrote: "Doing some SS Maintenance this morning@Karen...could you add Unsung Hero to our Read/UNO shelf
@Ashley...could you add Have I Told You This Already? to your UNO shelf"
Done! Sorry about that!
Glad to see the overload cards are back! My team last year kept calling them overlord cards because several of us read it that way and then we just liked it better. hahahaI'll keep those colored cards in mind as I plan for April. I'm so bummed that my book club book is like 45.1% yellow.
We have a ton of color cards in April…20+ A couple more than we had this month.
I think we should call them overlord…fun!
We've got one left - 5I tried to get it covered with the PIXIEs, but with the 4 Yellow and 'universe' needed I just couldn't figure it out any other way.
If I missed a back up, could any of you bring it to our attention...we could definitely move things around if it's not a color card.
Thanks!
I'm going to start a couple that will work for most just in case we have a last minute need...we haven't heard from everyone...so hopefully we are all set for finishing what we're reading :)
Reminders…Books remaining to finish - March Round *Mini also
Ashley - *Ring Shout, Killman Creek
Audrey - *Obernewtyn
Chava- How I survived bullies, broccoli and snake hill
Christina - Ever After Always, *Knotted by the Ghost Prince
Haswanthi - This is how you lose the time war
Maria Jo - *Mandie and the Ghost Bandits, *Pinocchio: With Reflections on a Father's Love
Tammie - All Our Tomorrows
Karen - Indiscretion
Nistha - The Walnut Mansion, The Bedroom Window, *Major Pettigrew's Last Stand
@Christina…for your book Knotted by the Ghost Prince …could you add as an extra on the March tab at the bottom noting what it works for?
I finished an extra book I was reading aloud to my students. I added it to the bottom. It works for 1, 2, 6, and Skip if there is anyone who cannot finish one of those books.
Maria Jo wrote: "I finished an extra book I was reading aloud to my students. I added it to the bottom. It works for 1, 2, 6, and Skip if there is anyone who cannot finish one of those books."Awesome Maria Jo...such interesting books you have!!
Could you add a word count on that one...MPG Childrens
Woohoo!
Somehow it has never even occurred to me to check the chapter books I read to my kiddos at bedtime. Some of them are obviously not enough words, but we just started one tonight that might work for April. I'll have to give it a check. As for my March books, I should have no trouble finishing. I have like 30 minutes of audio left in Ring Shout and I'm like 40% into Killman Creek.
I spent 2 hours this afternoon at a visitation/funeral and then came home emotionally exhausted. My husband had dinner plans with a friend and I was getting ready to make my kids and myself eggs for dinner but instead dropped/spilled 6 raw eggs on the hardwood floor, called my husband crying and asking him to come home, and to bring dinner. It has been a rough day. That being said, it's about 8:25pm and I'm going to go up and try to read a little before I just totally pass out.
I've added what I can to the extras spots. By the end of the month I'll have at least 2 more books done if not 3 so if we could get more extra spots that would be great. Also, looking at the books others have read I've also read in the past The Unsung Hero that Karen read for a 1 spot and Nistha's In the Lives of Puppets currently in a 5 spot. They could be moved to a Reverse spot if needed, is that correct?
Sorry you've had such an emotionally trying day Ashley. I truly hope tomorrow will be a better day for you.

Finished mine and updated on the spreadsheet
Doing some SS maintenance this eve@ Karen...could you add The Lover to your UNO shelf?
Thanks everyone for the extra reading...Still have 6 or 7 books left to complete.
Just over 2 days remaining...if you can, we'll appreciate having books finished with a few hours to spare.

I just noticed we have 14x 7s and 13x 5s. If you have choices, please try to find those 7s and 5s!
Still color cards taken care of 1st...we've got a good start claiming those. Just 6 REVs this go.

Did anyone read a book that might work for Mini 10: Read a book that has been adapted into a radio or TV program or into a movie? I should be able to get my book done, but it'll be close. If someone has one that works, I'll just plan to bump the finish till April.
Maria Jo wrote: "Did anyone read a book that might work for Mini 10: Read a book that has been adapted into a radio or TV program or into a movie? I should be able to get my book done, but it'll be close. If someon..."I googled and this came up regarding Haswanthi's book in Hand 3...
Yes, the book "Just for the Summer" by Abby Jimenez has been adapted into a TV movie, titled "Just for the Summer" and released in 2020.
You should probably verify one more place...
The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud that Nistha read was made into a movie. We're currently using it for a spell out B.
I just finished Killman Creek and it isn't on the mini. It looks like there are 6 books in the series so maybe we could use it for 8 on the Mini and move Karen's book to spell out B?
Or, I'm actually pretty sure one of the characters in my book had a B first name but they mostly used his last name. Let me double check.
Okay, sorry for my several mini updates in a row. Killman Creek has a character named Ballantine Rivard. We could use that for the spell it out and move Charlie St. Cloud to the adapted into a film spot.
