Murder at Fenway Park #1 Mickey Rawlings by Troy Soos American baseball. Also new author for me.
Hope someone can recommend a book with WRENCH on cover. Have search online & all I could find was a YA contemporary mystery
In the Study with the Wrench which unforunately is not historical. Thanks!
While looking for a book with a kitchen on the cover I noticed that many of the Mrs. Jeffries series have useful covers: kitchen, glass conservatory, dining room table ...There are over 30 books in the series so have fun searching.
Sandy wrote: "From my reading of our last time we did Clue:
, a Nero Wolfe in Portuguese. I read it in English."Thanks, Sandy! Missed this one as our library has as Libby Kindle but with the English language cover :)
Alice just posted a positive review for
The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies by Alison Goodman. On the cover 1 female is holding a gun & the other female is holding a knive.

Recommendation for Category 3 (Weapons), Task 3 (Knife) - This book has a sword on the cover, I thought it was really well done and it's set in England in 1657 so a different/earlier era than most: The Seeker by S.G. MacLean
Hello there, I have two recommendations:-For a Healer Detective: The List of Seven by Mark Frost is a Conspiracy Mystery that has a pre-Sherlock Holmes Arthur Conan Doyle as its main character.
-For the Metal Title: The Silver Pigs by Lindsey Davis.
Which one should I listen to next for double letter? I'm mooching off a friend's Hoopla and I don't want to use all her borrows. I want to make the best choice for a book to listen to while I work. I've listened to Cleopatra Fox books and the narrator is nice. I haven't listened to either of the others before.Murder on the Brighton Express (the library may get an e-book in Libby in addition to Hoopla's audio book).
Murder Among the Pyramids by Sara Rosett
or The Matter of the Secret Bride (Hoping the library gets that one in hardcover soon).

I really liked her narration of Lady Odelia's Secret.

Since I know Cleo and Harry and friends, I didn't have to worry about listening carefully to the explanations of backstory.

Dianne Freeman's Countess of Harleigh series has a lot of chandeliers on the covers. The books are pretty cozy for those who prefer that sort of thing.
Lynn Brittney's Mayfair 100 series has a number of weapons in their covers: rope, revolver, dagger, a bottle of poison and even a scissor! The covers also have distinct colours.

QNPoohBear wrote: "Any for reading?Jane and the Man of the Cloth
is all I have off the top of my head."The first book in the series Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor
also works. You could also try The Apothecary Rose
Since I had read all these books I actually ended up reading The Prince's Man
for this category
I just reread Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor. I miss sleuthing with Jane so maybe I will go read #2.
