5.7 National Cocoa Day

December 13th is National Cocoa Day - as if we needed an excuse for chocolate. Don't forget the marshmallows!

Read a book with a hot beverage on the cover, such as coffee, tea, cocoa/hot chocolate, hot cider, etc. The beverage should be visible; no empty containers.

That is an interesting way to make the beverage visible. That book will work.

Hi - would you mind answering my question, too? I’m wondering about the covers, because in the first one you can see a cup with liquid, but I’m not sure if you agree that it’s hot. In the second cover there is a coffee mug with liquid on the desk, but it might not be clear enough?

Sorry, I was trying to decide on that first book and I popped in just before goin to bed when I answered the other one.

I don't know that the first book has enough information to say whether any of those drinks are hot.

But the second book will work. After I could zoom in enough, I believe that is a cup of coffee on the desk.

These books do not work. The task requires that the drink be visible. I can't see anything in the mugs or any indications like steam that show that the cups have the drink in them.

Quick query on : it's hard to tell from the thumbnail, but on the physical copy I've got it's clear there's green tea in the cup on the right. Would this be acceptable?

I went to Amazon and was able to enlarge the cover, and it is evident there is a beverage in the cup-so I say yes it is acceptable.
