my kindle is my fav purchase everrrr tbh. i read on my phone before too but the kindle is sm better for ur eyes and without the distraction of notifications etc i read a lot more when i first got it
still have the kindle my parents gifted me over 10 years ago so I'd definitely say it's totally worth it. never has it needed reparations or anything
Absolutely! I love mine. It’s such a space saver and I’ve actually saved a lot of money having my kindle. I cross compare pricing to books I want at thrift stores vs kindle unlimited. The last month I’ve spent less than ten dollars on books (bought four on kindle recently) I can’t recommend them enough. Especially if you like manga/comics
I've always been a physical copy person, but my husband got me a Kindle for Christmas a few years ago and I love it. I keep it with me always. Its great for traveling too because you can take as many books as you want. :)
I think it is especially for travel and at night. But if you already like reading from a hardcover or paperback book then I would stick to it because it’s cheaper if you just read the book then keep it but if you want a kindle and not have the physical copy of the book then get a kindle
Yes!! I still love to read a physical book but sometimes you just want to read more comfortably and that helps a lot. In my case that I live in a European country it's good because I can have more access to more different books that haven't been translated yet.
I love being able to have the option of reading on my kindle and reading a physical book. Plus, there’s lots of different kindles to choose from - if you’re wanting something simple and easy to take with you, the paper white is it!
Yes 100% worth it! Being able to change the font and size as well as brightness is a real game changer. So easy to read in bed without the light on. Mine has dark mode and I love it! I have the Kindle Unlimited subscription at the moment and if you’re new you get a free trial I think it’s 2 or 3 months?! So it’s worth checking that out. On the 1st of every month a new selection of books go on sale for 99p each and I’ve picked up so many booktok books that way!
I love my Kindle! I used to read on my phone, and it was really hurting my eyes, so the Kindle really helped with that! Also, they just came out with one in color!
I first started with Nook, but B&N didn't have the books I wanted. Finally, after years with B&N I broke up with them and got a Kindle. Let me tell you it has everything I've wanted in an ereader. I take my Kindle everywhere I go. It so worth it. Get it!
Honestly, I don't think so. I just missed having a book too much and found I didn't read as much when it was on Kindle. But if you read mostly on your apps then it could be perfect for you!
Yes, I read physical copies and Kindle books. When I can find a book cheaper on kindle, that is what I will do. I also use it when I travel, so I download 10 books before hand and then I have options if I am not enjoying the book i am currently reading
At first I was sure I wasn’t going to like the kindle but now I don’t go anywhere without it! It’s definitely worth it!
honestly, yes! my eyes don't feel too heavy after i'm done with my reading session, AND if you're someone who likes staying outside in the sun this is perfect for you. during the summer my kindle is my best friend, lol
getting a kindle was the best thing i’ve ever done. i have adhd so having my kindle has me reading 2 books in a week. i have KU and libby which i absolutely love. i love reading in bed, on the bus/train or literally anywhere i can. bestie get a kindle you will not regret it🤍
I purchased my Kindle Basic about 2 week ago and I mainly read in bed and on the go. It's the perfect size for travel. I remove the ads for an additional $30 (not worth it to me). I would recommend using a Kindle :)
I have two of them Paperwhite and a basic and I love them. I read alot more and faster 😍 also cheaper to buy the e-book then the fisical, not always but 8/10 😉
I would say so. I honestly did not think I would like my kindle but then ended up falling in love with it. Now it goes with me everywhere.
Kindle literally changed my life routine. It’s so convenient to take anywhere I rarely leave the house without it. I use to love physical books now I just read on my kindle. If I can’t sleep and my husband is sleeping you can read without disturbing them
Y E S !!!! I bought the Kindle 2024 green one from Amazon and love it. Have about 300 books on it. Can adjust the font, size of font style spacing margins highlight etc. show page number, time, percentage read in kindle book. Handy to take books around on the go. Easy storage that way. I'm Mary from Northern Ireland and looking for new book friends. Feel free to add me and I'll add back. Thanks.
If it’s no probs to continue the line of thought, kindle of Amazon or B&N? Which is better? And more cost effective? 🤔💕
