how to start rereading a series after i stopped reading in the middle of it

Okay so I started reading the Gone Series a while ago maybe about 2-3 years ago. But the book is not really what this is about, i really love the books and want to get back into it. I left off at the 4th book of the series, but ever since i kinda put it down and stopped reading for a while. I want to know how do i pick up a book series i started but didnt finish. should i restart or should i just pick up where i left off? i remember key details and as i think about it more comes back but idk i dont remember every single thing.

Definitely restart. On my first read, I read every book in the series except the last. I got busy and forgot. Years went by. I tried to pick it up from there and realized how much more I would enjoy it if the other books were still fresh.
