Should I find my copy of the book, I hope to read it and join in. However, the fact that I haven't been able to find it yet makes me wonder if I donated it somewhere last year.
That’s what happened to me! We sold the house last June & moved to a condo. I had over 4000 books that I had to sort through. Unfortunately this one had been sitting for years on my shelf without me opening it, so out it went 🤷♀️
I started reading this one last night. It moves pretty quickly, but it was like 11 when I picked it up so I didn't get very far. I have time today.
A bit overwritten, I think so far. I hope Marcus will have some redeeming qualities later because he seems like a twit.
I can only read short sections at a time. I'm not one who generally cares whether or not I like characters in a book but I really don't like anyone here.
i just finish it, i feel it goed from less to more. I kind of like a lot of the things that happened.

It's really on the "messed up" sort of things, that's for sure. I'll likely finish this weekend.

I'm 200 pages in. Such a long book. It is only starting to get interesting. Hopefully I finish before I need to return to the library.
aPriL does feral sometimes wrote: "This plot reminds me of the TV show Twin Peaks, so far…." THANK YOU! I've been thinking the same. I'm only 30% in and decided to take a quick break. It feels a bit overwritten, and I'm wondering if all that information is really necessary. We'll see!
I am 250 pages in, with 300+ to go and I am really struggling to want to pick it up. Boring. WAY too much filler. Too contrived. And the way authors (bestselling or not) are supposedly treated (or paid). Too ridiculous. UPDATE: I have not DNF'd a book ever. I gave up on this at 300 pages. Life is too short.

Here's a thread, without spoilers, for discussing The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joël Dicker. Oak will lead.
Happy Reading!
