So.effing.awesome!Loved the ending. Also like that this story has wrapped up but there are plenty of places to go in this world. Think Mr. Chu already said there's another trilogy planned in the same world so w00t w00t for that!!
That would have been awesome to come full circle like that but I think that was just added for this book. I seem to remember the first starting with Edward being betrayed/killed and then Tao finding Roen
I was under the impression that this was the final book in this series but it didn't feel like it at all. I liked the story but overall felt like it lacked focus and drive. I wanted more closure but there's clearly a lot more story to tell of the war and Roen, Cam, Tao, and Jill. I think my expectations screwed with how I feel about the book. So, is the next trilogy about the Tans as well or not?

I was really happy with the end. I think this is a good end for Tao, but leaves things open nicely for his next series. The Tans get a happily ever after of sorts and all their antagonist hosts are dead.
I don't recall Io, the description calls them a low level agent.

Ah ok ... And considering Jill is now the Keeper, I have to assume we'll still see hints of the Tans. I liked the end too and was glad they got to at least all survive haha. And that Enzo and that little creep Jacob got what was coming to them
I went back and forth on 4 or 5 stars (the rating is probably more like a 4.5), but considering I rearranged my plans on Sunday just so I could finish the book, I think that warrants a 5 from me.
These books just scratch an itch for me I guess.
I would like some more Tao books at some point, but I also like the idea of us following a different Prophus for a bit.
