Moby-Dick Read Along | Starting Date: April 10

Hello, friends, hello. I've been neglecting this thread but I'm still very much in the process of reading Moby Dick. I'm currently on Chapter 75 and I'm going to try my very best to finish the book before May ends.

I'd like to share my favorite passage so far:

"Your voraciousness, fellow-creatures, I don't blame you so much for; that is nature, and can't be helped; but to govern that wicked nature, that is the point. You are sharks, certain; but if you govern the shark in you, why then you be angel; for all angels are nothing more than the shark well-governed."

Hi Kristel----I liked Moby Dick, especially Queequeg. I remember the three mates--Starbuck, Stubb, and Flask. :)

Hi Steve, thanks for chiming in. I really enjoy Queequeg as well, it's a bit of a shame that the middle chapters don't have him so much because the story's too focused on the whaling. but I find the hunting and butchering process(?!) here fascinating.
