Lisa jpg (lisaymjpg) | 15 comments I’ve been holding off reading TOG because it’s so long and I’ve only read ACOTAR. I need to know if I should read TOG before the next ACOTAR book comes out and if it’s worth reading the crescent city series. PLEASE NO SPOILERS! I know I will fly through TO, but the crescent city books are such an intimidating size and I already got a spoiler of the first 3 chapters 😭.

Cassidy | 347 comments TOG I highly recommend, I know the size is intimidating but I loved every second of it.

Crescent City is actually pretty good in my opinion! I didn’t find the world building too difficult to follow, it seems weird because it’s modern but you just have to roll with it. I think it actually makes sense to read Crescent City next while ACOTAR is fresh in your mind (if you plan to read it at all) and then you can finish the universe with Throne of Glass!

shania you should read tog and then crescent city. acotar - tog - crescent city is the best order imo because crescent city is like a bridge between all three. reading crescent city after tog and acotar just makes the reading experience so much better in my opinion because you can understand all the hints sjm put to connect the books

tog and crescent city are pretty long but they're both so good. you won't even notice that they're a lot. i flew through both series'. tog is my fav

Lisa jpg (lisaymjpg) | 15 comments I was thinking about reading crescent city first, but I keep seeing that there’s important stuff in TOG that connects to CC so I’m unable to decide.

Cassidy | 347 comments I don’t think you can go wrong either way honestly 🙂 ACOTAR and Crescent City are much more connected than Crescent City and Throne of Glass. I only picked up on a couple of instances of crossover for CC and TOG and nothing essential to the storyline, just things that are cool if you pick up on it.

Kristen Miller | 26 comments I’ve heard many people say ACOTAR then TOG. I’m still reading the ACOTAR series.

Kristina | 300 comments Feel free to read TOG next! I loved every word and it didn’t seem long enough, it changed me in weird ways!
As for CC, it is kinda too long in my opinion, but good nonetheless

Sierra Whether you start with ToG or ACOTAR is up to you but there major ties that CC series absolutely should be read last.
