was truly devious hard to pick up?

i’ve been thinking about reading truly devious by maureen johnson but i‘m kinda worried it might be hard to pick up because a friend of mine dnf-ed it recently… did any of you have a similar experience?

for me it was so easy to get into and i LOVED it but everyone’s different!! if you try it lmk what you think <3 the whole series is one of my favourite series everrr

yes i had a very similar experience. i personally thought the plot was a little rushed and i disliked the way the characters were written. overall, i think i gave it 2.5 stars.
